oh wow, HUGE difference!!! Thats terrific!

When I graduated with a BS in biology I couldn't find a job. Ended up getting a MS and then had a lot more opportunities. I realize that isn't super helpful though if you don't want to continue with school! Sorry!

yes. and, not at all.

Amen!!

ENELL! They make terrific big girl sports bras. At my highest I was a 40DDD and a runner. Yeah. Ouch. Enell got me through. I think the one I have is called the "goddess" or something like that.

Newman's own Light Balsalmic! Something like 50 cals for a tbsp (which is plenty cuz its thin, spreads easy). Super yummy. I'll never buy anything else.

The point isn't to be perfect, its to be the best version of you. Corny, cheesy, whatever- I know. But its still true. You can try chasing perfection and end up looking like Michael Jackson or you can embrace that droopy eye as something that gives you character and remind yourself that botox is for insecure middle aged…

Just pay attention to your body. If you start getting really sore heels/shins/knees, definitely take time off. If not, you're probably fine. I can't remember how often I ran when I first started but I run 4-5 days a week now with no problems.

I've never done that dvd but I do have a HRM and I can tell you I do burn a significant number of calories doing things that leave me less than winded. If I take the dog for a walk for example, my heart rate never gets above 115 or so and I never feel winded or sweaty but I'll burn 100-150 cals in a 30 minute walk.

Stress/comforting eating- mostly school related. Feeling like I had no time for proper sit-down mealtimes so I did a lot of mindless eating while doing other things. And I didn't prioritize the way I looked (and never felt like my health was suffering) for yeaaars! Really didn't care. More pressing things going on.

WOW!! 3 things: #1) My favorite, favorite, favorite, favoritest pic ever on MFP is that one of you in the black bra, blue panties, hands on your hips and hardcore/defiant/confident expression on your face. Especially since it comes after several pictures with the camera in front of your face. I'm just imagining you…

Thanks you guys!!

d'awwwwwwwwww, keeping on just d'awwwwwwwwwed me!

Unfortunately our bodies just let go of weight from wherever they want. There is no spot reduction. My little bro is close to being underweight and he still has a little double chin so there's probably not a ton of hope I'll ever get rid of mine completely. Just the way we're put together!

Lovely timing, I was just having a mini-pity party for myself b/c I was spending my Saturday afternoon studying for the GRE. (Although clearly I'm procrastinating) <oh yeah, big time first world problem. Also, I ran out of flour in the middle of making zucchini bread yesterday and I had to walk a whole 6 blocks (round…

I just made kale and taters with mine yesterday! Super yummy. Boil or bake 3 medium sized potatoes, cut them into bite sized bits, cook some onion and garlic in butter in a pan until it smells delicious, throw in the potato and then one bunch of chopped up kale on top of it and put a lid on it. Wait 5 or so minutes, turn…

Yeah, that second person looks like she could be that first persons daughter. Quite literally. AMAZING job!!!

February 2011 February 2011 August 2011 October 2011 You had the right link but you need to change the uppercase IMG to lowercase img for all of them. You also might want to resize a couple and then put them back into photobucket if you feel like being a perfectionist about it. You look great though! Congrats!!

Heck yeah I can see a difference!!! That's only 16 lbs!? Crazy! It looks like more than that, though I guess I don't know your height. In your side photo in particular you can see a huge difference. Way to go!

Haha, thats how I think about it too! I took some progress pics recently and when I looked at em I thought "huh, yeah, I'd hit that." Probably the first time ever I'd felt that way. And to answer your question: yes, but only b/c of the potato tattoo.

Physically (which I assume is what we're talking about), I think I'm getting there. I'm really happy with my body but I swear my face is just as big as it ever was. Once I'm down to one chin I think I will be physically attractive.
-
I'm 5'7 and I think I'm shooting for 140. I'm 170 now and this is the smallest I've ever been. Literally. Clothes that fit when I was 15 are now baggy on me. So we'll see about that 140. I want my gut and double chin gone and I want to strong and fast. Whatever weight that happens at is my goal weight.
-
Oh totally!! The difference in your arms really sticks out for me. Great job!

If I could afford it.... I would take that money and go on a really sweet vacation. I understand the desire to with loose skin but thankfully I never got big enough/am still young enough that everything will probably spring back just fine. Other than that, I'm never going to be physically perfect and I would never let…

What difference do you want to see in your face???? You're beautiful!!!! Excellent progress, keep it up!

There is no reason you couldn't cycle back through but if you're bored with that one there are definitely others out there. The other one I've tried is "biggest loser- last chance". Its a lot of the same moves but thrown together differently with different instructors, and its full body. You might also trying googling…

Good for you!!!

Exactly! When i started walking to work I was losing and then after awhile my body adjusted and it was easy, I didn't burn as many calories. So yeah, I'd suggest switching your activity level to "lightly active" and just not logging the walk to work. "lightly active" will give you about half as many calories more a day…
-
Yeah if its something you do everyday you should include it in your profile settings- the "sedentary, lightly active, active" part and not include them as "exercise". I had the same problem when I walked to work everyday.
