I am very interested in it... I will wait to see the reviews on it, but I might just have to splurge if it seems worth it.

Thank you for all the great tips! I I am excited to begin training on January 2nd!

It usually only takes a day

I just ran a 5K this morning actually, and I have to say they are addicting. I have 2 more lined up just for this month. I promise you though there are people of every shape, size, and athletic ability. That's why most 5k's are run/walks, you can go at any pace you want and still feel good cause there are people all around…

Is it too late to join? I am really hoping on looking good for Halloween this year and maybe even splurge on a costume. I have 3 5k's lined up for the month of October and then toning and gym time in between. I would like to loose 5lbs and tone up my abs, arms and legs. SW: 139

Rum and diet all night.

Find a good book, join a exercise group like pilates or yoga, join an intermural sport like volleyball or soccer, or find a craft you like to do like scrapbooking etc.
-
That is exactly what I got! Delicious.

At least I am signed up for 3 5k's during the month of October...

I'm on a college budget and living 3 blocks away I sometimes slip up. Especially when walking home from the bars on the weekends.

The Twin Cities!! Home of all the sports teams with the best fans but the worst winning records.

Thank you so much for all your advice everyone. I truly appreciate it. I guess I am just going to have to get used to late nights alone for a while and hopefully keeping myself very busy during the day. Time heals all things and I know there is soooo many more people to meet and things to experience in this life before I…

I wish that was possible... but at the moment it doesn't look promising. Maybe in time but for now we are just giving each other space.

Loving the single life.

I really liked "You Are What You Eat" it wasn't completely full of political mumbo jumbo, and it had a lot of good facts and things to think about.

My butt and stomach... now if only my thighs would follow suit haha

Die hard TWINS fan... even though they are having a rough season and the Vikings when they are doing well haha

I'm a libra, and i find that a lot of the things they say is so general that bits and pieces of it could apply to anyone so it seems true. However I have read a few that are creepily correct.

I did a lot of singing in high school and in the beginning of college. I actually had to dye my super blonde hair black to sing the lead of Maria in West Side Story. Now I only sing an occasional wedding. It is definitely true what they say if you don't exercise your voice you lose it.

I would definitely take a pregnancy test just in case, and if that is not the main source then it could have something to do with your diet and intense exercise. Sometimes it takes our bodies a while to compensate when we put them through extreme changes.

you look like such a happy and healthy mom! Keep up the good work :)

I have a puppy named Cabella. She is a black lab/great pyranees mix.

haha this thread definitely caught my attention.

I'm originally from the Twin Cities, but I go to school in Winona which is just a mile away from Wisconsin. Viking and Packer games or Twins and Brewer games are intense when you're right on the border.

Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers This is my 3rd time reading it and it still has not gotten old. It's a must read.

I have 1 on my foot, I'm getting one drawn up right now for a tat on my collar bone. I love them when they have an important meaning.

I live in Minnesota so in the winter I usually go to the nearby gym, or do a bunch of my exercise dvd's at home. you can also add in little things like taking the stairs at work or school and do push ups and situps on a daily basis until you feel up to coming out of hibernation.

Thank you! That was a very helpful post!

Wow! Thanks for all the input! I'm sure there is a protein powder for me in that monster list!
-
I mean a protein shake that doesn't have over 3,000 calories in one glass full. Something that is more in tune with helping women tone up but not bulk up.
