I bought a Flex to help me slow down loss and move on to maintenance and it's nothing less than amazing. I'm +- following it's adjustments to my daily calories for three months now - oscillating within a kilo around my target 75. Tremendous help with tracking all cardio based exercises (except biking etc obviously).…

yesterday I tried the Vibram five fingers running shoes and even though the friend that was lending me those said it's hard to run couple hundreds of meters in them for a beginner, let alone a 1K, I managed the whole warm up outdoor run before Ultimate Frisbee training (2.5K). hopefully this will continue the tradition of one of the old forums' threads :) 2011, one of the pics that opened my eyes (edited out my wife :p ) this month started here last December at cca 93kg, down to 75 at around 1700-1800kcal/day + cardio and maintaining for over 2 months at 2200, planning some bulk during winter.

when my belt couldn't get any tighter due to the hip bones - no additional fat there ;) still little bit of chub around my belly, but working on that on maintenance calories

other then cleaning the contacts (which is pretty normal - how else would you design an otherwise waterproof gadget?) and it not measuring HR (wouldn't be accurate much on a wrist anyways) I can't agree with all of the above. Based on my own experience it measures steps even when pushing a trolly or carrying stuff around.
