Astonishing progress. You are like an internet celebrity now. Anything is possible!! Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Lets keep this thread going everyone! It helps us connect with others in the same boat. Great posts so far.

Ridiculous. I would sue them big time if I were her

Wow... You look 15 years younger. Amazing!

Thanks for the posts guys. I have gotten used to waiting for the weekends for cheat meals, which are mainly appetizers at restaurants and I drink tons of water with them. I notice I hardly crave sweets which is beautiful. Hot wings are my favorite cheat meal, with the right blue cheese to go with it. I learned to stay away…

213 on a 6'0 frame looks thin, atleast to me. What size shirts do you wear? I'm curious because i'm a similar height. At 246, I'm a 38 inch waist, XL shirts.

It happens to all of us, no matter the age. My bp and weight sky rocketed when I was 22, so I had to make a change. 325 on a 5'10 is no good, and my knees were the indication that something needed to be done quickly. This thread should be starred b/c a lot of men on here have hit 300 and hold on to that for some years.…

Awesome progress!!!

Well I do. I feel the same about myself and I cut 80 since I started my journey three years ago. MFP has me ticked for 31but 50 lbs were burned off before I joined here
-
You will man. Just keep at it. I was 268 in mid January and stuck with it. 246 is the lowest I've been in 10 years! If i can do it, so can you.

Google "free pic uploading". Then, take the " direct link" for the picture and paste it between leaving no spacing. Hope this helps

#Amazing. One thing that these naturally thin men forgot was that when us big guys get to our goal weights, the power will shift to us. We will make the goal weight look better than their natural weight!
-
No problem! the 300 club is a thing of the past for us, and we have to maintain that mindset. My goal is 200 as well. I'll send a friend request. Us big men gotta stick together!
-
I'm 5'10 as well. 246 lbs and 38 waist and XL shirts. I guess when I get to 200 i'll be 34 waist as well. Nice feedback

Read the whole blog. Great testimonial. You have achieved a lot and you look good, be proud of your accomplishments. You really made a good point when you stated that you didn't see yourself being that big. I thought I carried my weight well but I was 300+ saying that. I'm 15 lbs heavier than you and I can feel and see the…

Congrats Jasmine! You looked great before and I bet you feel better now. Keep it up.

Major transformation!! Nearly 200lb loss. That's pure desire and dedication. I fight my battles to stay focused but the war will be won by me. 200-210 is not fat for a man 5'10 and up. Our beauty standards are so distorted and ridiculous. I see it as long as you can run 3-5 miles non stop...walk for miles without getting…

^^^Yess!! Cheat meals should always be done on the workout days. Create a deficit during the week, and when you work out, a cheat meal won't throw you over (if you have it in moderation of course). That is the way to eat the foods you want and make progress.

What do you do to sustain?

Check out my thread. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1239041-lost-80-lbs-and-never-counted-calories It is a hot topic, if you need tips on how to lose weight without counting food calories, feel free to inbox me as well.

Thank you for sharing your response :) I had to modify your quote because what you said encompasses the many responses I've made to people in this thread. Counting is good to help you get started and make progress, however, once you know the right choices to make, you should be able to gauge the amounts of food on your…

For chips, eat baked chips and use the handful rule. If you have small hands, grabbing one large handful is typically the regular serving size. For people with large hands, 1/2 to 3/4 handful is a serving size. Before eating, store the chips away and do not go for seconds. The key is to get the taste, and savor every bite.…

Eating clean is never easy. However, like i've said on other posts, you sometimes have to gain to lose. I gained back 25 of my initial 55 lb weight loss. I was still eating decently, as far as food choices, but the portions were too big and the exercise decreased. Before eating clean can become "easy", you must experience…

Dude, you are highly intelligent and I love the elaboration on the salient points I was trying to make. Calorie counting is a fairly new trend, in comparison to the amount of time the human being has existed on the planet. We are the fattest generation of people. Take your cell phone, car, bike, and modern food convenience…

I've never passed judgement on anyone. And to say i've only gained weight from stuffing my face with fried food is an assumption and "obtuse". Fact is I don't know you and you don't know me. I didn't make this thread to debate with people on what is the most effective weight loss plan for everybody, I was simply trying to…

Well said and that is what I did in the beginning to get started. If you've been eating healthy and losing weight for a good stretch of time, chances are you have repeated some meal choices and I would think that most people would know how much food was on their plate when they ate it. I dunno, maybe this is a far-fetched…
