I find that eating a little fat helps. For instance, a handful of almonds, or maybe 1 tablespoon of almond butter or crunchy peanut butter. That tends to tide me over rather than eating some fruit or something.

Focus on YOU and what YOU need to eat. What an *kitten*.

Try a low-carb breakfast casserole. This one is good but I substituted the pork sausage for chicken sausage (less fat) and used reduced fat cheese. You can make it at the beginning of the week and just microwave it when you want to eat a piece. http://lowcarbfamily.com/archives/506

I'd suggest eating the correct portion, then wait 20 minutes. If you're still hungry, eat a bit more, but most likely you won't be hungry anymore after 20 minutes.

swish Listerine if you're at home and feel the non-true-hunger munchies! then nothing will taste right! :p

Join a gym. You can't beat that level of exercise. Don't let your family make you feel guilty. After all, it's not like you'll be there 6 hours a day, only about an hour or so. ALSO, I don't have children or a husband, but I have heard from people who do, that early mornings are best so there's less to get in the way of…

You can never be too rich, nor too thin. ;) Just kidding. I think too skinny is when someone looks at you and thinks you might be ill.

Great post! Definitely helps when you change your mindset to be accountable to yourself for your own choices. Last night, I decided that watching Downton Abbey with a friend was more important than kickboxing class (it wasn't and now I regret not going to the gym).

The 15 calories in the 1 tsp of sugar I put in my coffee is worth it to me. That's not what made me overweight.

Sitting all day is AWFUL! I just try to get up and stretch as much as possible; and even 1 hour of exercise a day helps IMMENSELY.

I am 5'4.5", medium build, and weigh 160 at the moment...a size 10 in pants or dresses. At 145 I was more like an 8 pants or 6 dresses. At 135 I was more like a 6. That's my goal to be more like 130-135. But everyone looks different at the same weight.

Woohoo!! I think you look great at 138...I personally don't think you need to lose another 12, but you should be happy so go you!
-
Woohoo! I honestly think you were also beautiful with some extra curves! But you look great! I hope to be 130-135 one day :)

My face looked thinner in the mirror today. Visible difference with just 3-4lb weight loss!

You have a sparkle in your eye in the after pic compared to the before!

Mine is "strong." The people I admire are: elegant, sharp, and sparkly My eulogy: loyal, sensitive, curious, spiritual My deathbed looking back: determined, hard-working, impactful, truthful, honest, delightful I think all of these encompass "strong" because you have to be strong to be any of these other things

Awesome! I'm going to try this and will try to post it back.

Just had another thought- is it possible that maybe you've been a 'bummer' to be around when out and about around calorie-laden foods? Like maybe you are being too paranoid about eating too much when out with him so he's like "well why bother even going out because she's not going to have any fun" or "she's going to talk…

I think men are just lazy and sometimes you have to give them positive reinforcement when they do something good. I'd say your weight loss has nothing to do with it; sounds like you're guy is just slackin' and he needs to shape up! Have you hinted, not nagged, him to plan something for you two to do together? I know in my…
