  • You will probably think I am crazy, but I had a old man tell me one time to drink a shot of vinegar/pickle juice every night and it will keeps ticks and chiggers from biting you. I thought he was insane but I tried it and it works. I am a avid outdoorsman and I have only had two ticks bite me in the last two years. Both…
  • I am no expert, far from it actually, but what works for me is Cetaphil. It's just a facial cleanser that you can buy anywhere. I used to break out in the summer months because I sweated a lot. When I started using it I had no more breakouts besides a few here and there, which is very rare now.
  • Glad you posted this. I actually laugh out loud whenever I read, "don't worry you are gaining muscle." Oh how I wish I could gain 8 pounds of muscle in two weeks.
  • I use a T~fal. I can cook eggs in it without oils or sprays and they do not stick. I love it.
  • Wow, I thought I was doing good at 120. That's is awesome, congratulations!
  • Lean meats- Chicken, Turkey, Beef, fish Nuts and nut butters- Peanut & Almond Egg are decent amount providing how small they are. Those are pretty much my staples for protein.
  • I agree, meat is getting more and more expensive. I just prefer whole food, but like I say I do drink whey when I don't get enough. Either on will work as long as you meet your daily protein goals.
  • Powders are not even needed if you get enough through whole foods. They are only needed to supplement your protein if you don't get enough. I try to get all mine in whole foods but sometimes I do drink whey.
  • Forgot to add I am eating 2700 calories a day on a ketogenic diet. Since I started a little over a year ago I have played with many different calorie numbers. It is all trial and error until you find what works best for you. There is no need to starve yourself either. Up your calories and eat that number for three Weeks,…
  • I am 6'7. When I started losing weight I had originally thought 250 would be my goal. I now weigh 259 and am no where near my goal. I have made huge gains though but still have a long ways to go. I would actually be happy at this weight as long as my bf% drops to what I want.
  • I used to NEVER be a morning person. After a while I got tired of going to the gym after work, and I decided to try the mornings. Now I absolutely love it. I wake up around 4:30/5:00 go to the gym then come home coo. breakfast then head to work. I don't know that I'll ever go back to evening workouts.
  • Working out , anything outdoors (hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, gardening, cutting grass, getting into running, etc.) reading, tinkering around with vehicles and tractors. Forgot to add, I love shooting guns.
  • Most all meats, eggs, cheese, almonds, heavy whipping cream(love this stuff,) pork rinds, leafy green veggies. Just google Ketogenic diet and you will have hours of reading materials.
  • Gaspari is by far the best tasting I have had, as good as a milkshake. I currently have the milk chocolate, which is awesome. My next will be the cookies and cream, which is just as good. BTW, Amazon is the cheapest I have found, and super quick shipping.
  • Mine says 330 which I was probably more like 350 when I got it the last time. Now I am 260.
  • I found that for me tracking macros is essential. I went several months just tracking calories, and while I did lose, I don't feel like I did as much as I could have. Since I started tracking macros, I can see a substantial difference. So now it's strictly IIFYM for me. That's just me though, I know others are different.
  • I started last March, 6'7 at 377 wearing 3xl shirts and 46in pants. I am down to 260ish now in 40-42 pants 2xl shirts. Still have a longs way to go but this is a lifestyle change for me and I am really enjoying it.

  • I'm in week three of a Cyclical Ketogenic Diet, or CKD. I love it so far. It seems to agree with me better than a lot of others that try it. I didn't have the metallic taste in my mouth, the lose of energy, weak in the gym, etc. Since passing the induction phase I have more energy now then before. I do not plan to stay on…

  • My plan is to cut to a lower bodyfat percentage then bulk, then cut again to really lean out with a muscular build. Not necessarily bodybuilding as in Ronnie Coleman big, but I want to be semi big and lean. I'm going to do it all natural too, NO roids! That is a long way off though because I still have a good bit of…
