On my second 200+ days streak here. Most of my old friends have stopped logging in. Need some new motivated and active friends! Add me!

I'm Indian and unless I'm buying food outside, I eat Indian food for lunch and dinner every single day. Despite my inconsistent logging, I have lost 30lbs so far. Firstly, Indian home food != Indian restaurant food. Billions of people in the Indian subcontinent eat this diet everyday. Nothing wrong with it. The real killer…

I had gestational diabetes too, and was told to eat around 150gms of carbs a day. I mostly ate fruits, oats, quinoa and beans to stick to the limit. I spread the carbs over 3 meals and 2 snacks which meant no more than 30gms of carbs at any given meal. I always paired the carbs with some protein. For instance, I'd eat a…

Definitely need more friends! Most of my old friends have fallen off the wagon. Some haven't even logged in for months. Would love to see more activity on my feed.

Incredible!
-
Low low target for this month - walk 30 minutes every other day. Over all goal of ~500 minutes of walking.

This might be late but here goes. I own a Withings scale. It has some great features, syncs with my phone and can auto-update MFP. http://www.amazon.com/Withings-WS-50-Smart-Analyzer-Black/dp/B00BKRQ4E8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420045406&sr=8-1&keywords=withings PS: Should we start a challenge for January?

Aside from a few running accomplishments, September was a total disaster! This month my goals will be far more modest. I plan to run at least 40 miles (~65km). I am hoping to put in a 30 minute workout everyday, adding up to 630 minutes for October. I hope to exceed it, but with a manageable target, I will be less likely…

Not going to meet my target this month. Have been very bad about tracking and exercise. On a positive note I ran my first 5k race last Saturday and finished in under 35minutes. :) I'm just going to join the October thread. This one is a lost cause now.
-
Another 120 minutes over the last 2 days. 280 minutes done.
-
40 more minutes of running today. 160 of 1000 done. I better get my act together or I'll fall way short of my target.
-
I was down with a sore throat and cough this past week, so not much in the way of exercise. With a 53 minute run yesterday and 67 minutes of run and yoga today, I'm at 120 minutes for the month. Have a lot catching up to do.
-
Another cyster here! Feel free to add me. I've been losing steadily but painfully slowly at about 2lbs a month. Been logging religiously for 115 days, and intend to keep going until I beat my insulin resistance into submission. :)
-
Just completed c25k last week. Starting with 40 miles for this month.
-
I'll do the same but not by too much. I'll up my goal to an even 1000 minutes.
-
Wow super cool Jasneet! I just barely made my goal. 30 minutes of walking yesterday and another 40 minutes of running today, make it 790 for the month.
-
I did it! I completed the c25k program. For the first time ever I ran 3 miles without stopping. :) 45 minutes of running today. Need 60 minutes more to reach my goal for the month with just 1 more day to go. Will go for a walk today and run again tomorrow. That should be enough to get to 780 minutes.
-
40 minutes on Sunday and 40 minutes today. Total is 675. Jasneet, good going with the C25k. You are making fast progress!
-
A 40 minute walk today makes 595 minutes in all.
-
Totally fell off the wagon. Back to running today. 40 minutes makes a total of 555. Need 225 more to reach monthly target. That means 25 minutes a day for the next 9 days! I better stay on track now. I've reached C25k week 8, the final week! 3 more days and I will be done with the program. Signed up for my first 5k…

Yesterday was a big day workout wise. Did 45 minutes of swimming and 120 minutes of slow paced walking. Did another 40 minutes of running today. August total is 515 minutes. @Jasneet: Good job on your first day of C25k. Don't worry about the coming weeks. Take it one run at a time. I wouldn't recommend repeating runs…
-
40 minutes of running done. August total is 310. Happy Independence day everyone! @Jasneet: The 15th is here! wink wink! We were to start something, weren't we?
-
Greeshu, you're still beating me hands down! :) 425 minutes is great. Week 6 done. Another 40 minutes today. August total stands at 270 minutes.
-
Here's to not having to wear maternity pants anymore! :drinker: Finally I can wear my regular pants.
-
35 minutes of swimming today. Monthly total stands at 230.
-
C25k W6D2 completed. It was a great run. 35 minutes total. Total minutes for August 195.
-
Another 40 minutes logged. Went swimming today after a long hiatus. Total for the month stands at 160 minutes. @Jasneet: Great! Now you have a start date. I'm going to hold you to it!
-
Another 40 minutes down today. 120 for the month. @Jasneet: I run at a snail's pace. Very very slow! I am trying to build up endurance before working on my pace. If I try running fast I'll crash in a minute or two. You should definitely check out the C25K group on MFP. Lots of helpful supportive people on there. I'm pretty…
-
I'm 80 minutes into this month. 700 more to go. Need to up my pace. On the other hand I completed my c25k w5d3! Ran 20 minutes without stopping. :)

Are we going to have a new thread for August or is this it? Well I''m posting here and will repost if we get a new thread. Aug 2 2014, Minutes logged: 40 C25K w5d2 down. I ran on a trail for the first time ever. It was so much better than running on the road. The big run is next, w3d3, the 20 minutes run! How is everybody…
