  • I really had to laugh at your post when you said about doing a shot of it to get loopy LOL! It is great hearing about everyones experiences with the surgery. My preop nurse said it was going to be very painful but I am guessing she has not had the sleeve haha. Thank you for your tips, much appreciated :-)
  • Thanks for your replies Ladies, I will look for liquid paracetamol, think that may be easier to stomach than pills for a while. I will ask about the liquid tramadol as well! I have bought a gadget that crushes pills too so will look at putting them in apple sauce. I know I could crush them with a spoon but think I will…
  • Hi Jackie, I think it is normal to feel scared and happy all at once. I am very much feeling this too, my surgery is booked for the 26th July. I have a 2 week liver shrinkage pre op diet consisting of 5x slim fasts a day which I know isn't going to be pleasant but I am looking at it as preparation for after surgery because…
  • Thank you for responding MangoPickle :-) I spoke to the Bariatric nurse yesterday (as I don't even know who my surgeon is yet) and was completely honest with her. • Hi Millie Thank you for replying to my post  really helpful hearing about your experiences. I guess the gas is the reason they sign you off work for 2 weeks LOL  Glad to hear that the surgery isn't too painful, I bet having had your gall bladder out you were a bit more prepared for it. I have my dieticians…
