I have a friend, who is a very FAST marathoner-a real runner He prefers to just slip a pair of running socks over his hand -actually puts them on under shirt so cuffs stay pput. With gloves your fingers get cold. He runs all winter in the cold-well did until he moved to the coast.

add breakfast. Eat your raisin bran for breakfast and your shredded wheat for lunch.

My advice Pick up a second hand fleece from a thrift store and try it out with low cost. Your other choice would be merino wool.

what about biking?

Back to your physical therapist for advice. It worked last time!

collarbone fracture shouldn't stop you from some gentle riding on a stationary bike. A recumbent bike would be easiest.

Just to say I agree with the above. You HAVE lost 2 lbs a week. Great job. You can walk 5 minutes a day. Try it twice a day. You can stand 5 minutes a day. Try some bed exercises. Try some bed yoga. Keep up the good work.

And you can always cross country ski in the winter. Great aerobic work out and even arm workout as well.

Isn't that the phone that catches fire?
-
Yes perfectly normal, keep it up and it will go away.

Yoga 1 hour

How about doing some -certainly not all-training runs indoor on a treadmill? It should help the allergies.

I let the big clothes go, donating either to my mother-she is slimming into them, or charity.

OK my stretch pants are now LONGER! Less me to stretch around!

What does your physical therapist suggest?

warm prune juice works wonders.

Ha ha Not true. My younger sister eats a lot more sugar than I do and I'm the one with type 2 diabetes.

use a blow dryer on them when still damp.

I was at a work event and saw people I only see once or twice a year. I was complimented on how great my clothes were. It was really that I;m a lot smaller- but hey I gracefully accepted the compliment!

doesn't matter a whole lot for taste. Settings are to give you an option if away from home for 9 hours or 5 hours.

I think you mean Mousse as I had pictured a cute little Thanksgiving mouse-you know the kind with a tail! As for less calories-really with all that full fat whipping cream? How about just making a pumpkin pie without a crust. Pumpkin, eggs, evaporated milk and some sugar(plus the spices)-the recipe is often on cans of…

It's all about the work out you do on the bike.

sounds like it could be your SI (sacral-Iliac joint). See a physiotherapist.

Are you SURE you are not pregnant? Go ahead pee on a stick. Otherwise when was your last bowel movement? Try some warm prune juice about 4 oz (125ml) just microwave it for 45 seconds or so. And always measure waist using boney landmarks- like the top of your pelvis (your Anterior superior Iliac crest) Y. Measuring over…

track my calories and stay within allotted caloriesand walk most days. Track my steps with a misfit-but any tracker will do. Walk at least 5 days a week at least 30 minutes a day often more.

Go buy yourself a bathing suit you like. They come in many styles and dare to wear it. Life is too short to wait for "someday". No one else really cares about what you look like on the beach.

been maintaining the last 2 months. Goal is 10 lbs off-that healthy BMI for me-and I'll look great at my sisters spring wedding. I expect that will put me in consistent size 10 pants. I'm a 10/12 at the moment

Lots of exercise while away-lots of walking if staying with friends or family do some of the cooking-they will appreciate it and you can cook your foods Don't indulge too much-perhaps 1 treat a day limit your alcohol

May I suggest that your weight is in a healthy range for your height? Why do you want to lose more? My guess is that any further loss is just vanity loss and you won't easily be able to maintain it.

start today. Eat the calories given by MFP. Log everything. Add exercise. Do not eat back more than 1/2 of exercise calories. Whether of not you have 40 lbs gone you will be smaller and fitter by Jan. 17. Just get started already.
