I've been type 2 now for almost 3 years. I did really well with a low carb diet and walking for exercise when first diagnosed. I also take 3 metformin a day. Sugars were awesome and doctor was super impressed.(I lost 57 lbs) I find I can't be as strict with diet on an ongoing basis and have gained 30 lbs back. The good…

Ok as folks have said use the provided training plan organizers do know what they are doing. Start lengthening your rides. On actual day-commando under padded women specific bike shorts is the way to go. No chafing.

a day off could be a long walk or a gentle yoga class. A day off is good for the body. As for being addicted-perhaps do something with friends on your "rest" day.

Let your child motivate you-I see a high chair in the photo. You want to be able to keep up as they grow. Perhaps add a 1/2 hour walk daily pushing the stroller...

Stationary biking as ankle permits. Either buy a decnt stationary bike or a wind trainer for your real bicycle. Go fast with last little resistance-so little stress on ankle. Check with your Physio. Ask them what is ok to do.

You can track carbs in your food diary and it gives you a goal daily.

Train around the injury. Seated workouts. Work those arms and core. Rest the ankle and keep going to the chiro if that is working for you.

Try to not do TV every night. Do something else. A walk and talk together, get some of the housework out of the way, find a hobby, do the laundry, turn on some music and dance--break the sitting habit and I bet the snack habit will vanish.

I did not have a c-section and even though I was back at pre-baby weight-and normal BMI 1 year after the birth of my first my waist never went back to it's original size. You have a 27 inch waist. That may be as good as it gets for you-and that's damn good!
