I'd say a gentle workout that you can do again is preferable to a hard workout and being too sore. Try doing just 10 minutes the first time. Repeat that for a week and then add another 5 or 10 depending on how you are feeling. And speak to your parents about healthy foods-maybe offer to cook supper for all one night.

I'm 57 and have lost 45lbs. Watching those calories and exercise and watching my carbs has done it for me. It is work and it is being intentional about it.

Was biking with my visiting sister and b-i-l. It was cool so I pulled out leg warmers. They kept falling down. Often! even when tucked up under my bike shorts. Turns out I don't fit men's M-L anymore. 2nd NSV My sister has always been smaller than me. ALWAYS. We have different bone structures-here's is small and I have…

No but it is a great way to love yourself!

OK I know I have read on MFB that sometimes feet get smaller with weight loss and it is true. The gorgeous green boots I bought last March were a bit uncomfortable-ok for an evening but killed my feet for a full day. Wore them all day Wed. They are that much bigger (and perhaps because my weight is lighter)

do something else-like biking or swimming until hamstring feels fine.

I had a butter tart tonight-with pecans in it and I am diabetic and watch my blood sugars. One-every once in awhile is ok but just ok

Hip adductor pain is not that unusual. See a physical therapist and get adductor strengthening exercises.

retired 2 pair of dress pants. Baggy in the bottom and waist.

My pedals clip in on one side and are flat on the other (well at least on my mountian bike). Invest in a pair and it lets you unclip and flip the pedal for intersections, corners and other scary things.

The study I read showed that the treadmill burned more calories but hey burning some-and not injurying your knee-is working for you!

An acquaintance/friend who is a personal trainer-and I were talking about my journey. She said that it looked like my body fat was now at a healthy level. I laughed and lifted a corner of my shirt and pinched a roll. Nope. Not there yet but HEY with clothes on I can pass! For me that is a victory!

so keep walking and perhaps consider a bike for riding outside as well.

It is easiest if your feet are attached to your pedals. That allows you to pull up as well as push down on pedals-recruiting another whole group of muscles. I clip my shoes to my bike but you can get "cages" that fit on regular pedals to hold feet. Try them!

How tall are you? What is your current weight? Why 60 kg by Dec?

Your body adapts to doing the same thng over time. Change it up a bit. Try your 7am run outside for example.

The sport beans got me through 2 half marathons and 1 full marathon as well as cross country ski racing 55k. I much prefer them to gels.

Do you need your own machine for exercise or is there a gym you can go to?
-
Great news. If you can bike for an hour you can do many drills. You can do some hills on your bike, some sprinting, as well as a variety of outdoor rides at different paces. have fun with it!

No to the caffeine pills. Unnecessary for me.

Despite a day of sitting at professional development I met my trophy target on my misfit. I walked to work. Walked to and from dinner with my son-after driving to his city. He suggested walking a different way home after the resturant dinner. Worked for me!

again 130 is too low for you.

Did biking work for you?

my simple advice is to go commando under good women's specific bike shorts. Much less rubbing.

I hard boil a bunch of eggs and stick them in the fridge. It's a quick and cheap breakfast some mornings.
