  • To be honest, do what makes YOU feel right. My doctor has had a go at me many a time when I felt I was at a good weight but when I felt I was unhealthy, he praised me. They just go by your BMI which is very rarely reliable because everyone is different, it doesn't included muscle mass or any other factors. Just do what…
  • Implants & a lift please! I'm really tall with fairly big hips [5foot11, 41 inch hips] so my 32E's don't look proportional. I know, an E cup is pretty big, but when it's teamed with a small band, it's actually more like a 34D, so pretty average. But yeah, after already losing at least 40 pounds, they've kind of gone south…
  • Behind your ear is a lot easier hidden than your arm or wrist. I have a tattoo on each hand & one of my forearm, I just had an interview for a job & they said it would be an issue so I'd have to wear long sleeves. If you're working somewhere really professional, then yes, it may well be an issue but it depends on who runs…
  • I spend a lot of my time on Tumblr so most of my inspiration is from there. There's always pictures of these stick thin models, or gorgeous toned girls in tiny outfits & I just makes me more motivated to work harder to look like that. But If I had to pick one person? Taylor Momsen. Simple as. I love her figure so very…
  • That sucks so much of him to say that! I know the feeling though. I started feeling self conscious about my appearance when my first ever crush called me a man because I was taller than him. So unfair for people to say that kind of stuff. I hope you get the legs you're hoping for, pilates seems the way to go! :)
  • I was going to ignore the first comment but really? I didn't ask for this. All I asked for was what exercises will slim my legs down but won't bulk them up. I'm pretty sure a lot of women feel the same way. Yes, I want skinny legs. But that's my personal choice. That's what I find attractive. I get that maybe you prefer…
  • One thing I should have added, my mum & dad both have very muscular calves, my mum especially. Neither of them are exactly healthy, both over weight but they both have muscular legs. So I have a feeling it might just be in my genes for my legs to do as they please & bulk up more than I'd like them to, sadly. :/ I wish I…
  • For yoga & pilates, I'll have to look up YouTube videos or something, but will definitely look into it, thanks! :D Thank you Rachel, I guess you're right there. I'll probably avoid biking more often, try find something else instead 'just incase', hopefully once my weight starts to get closer to my goal weight, it'll all…
  • Oh christ yes! My boyfriend is stick thin, over 6foot tall & weighs less than 10 stone but he's one of the lucky few who are naturally like that. So of course, he eats whatever he pleases without having to worry. But me? Nope, I have to watch what I eat otherwise I balloon out big time. Whenever we have money, it's always…
  • I know the feeling! 1 & a half years ago, I was 140lbs but now that I've left Uni? 160lbs. Thankfully my clothing size has only gone up slightly, can still fit into most of my old clothes but my favourite jeans are too small, so annoying. Congrats on your loss so far! I put on fast & lose slow though, hopefully I get the…
  • Aha wow, thanks for all the recommendations! :D I'll have to find out if they sell some of the stuff you've mentioned but vodka seems the way to go. My mum always drinks vodka & lime so I think that may be one of my options. Thank you guys! :)
  • I gained 3 pounds this month & it doesn't seem to be going anywhere even though it finished 3 days ago...
  • I really love marshmallows. Yup. 0.0 That plus my mind totally melts down when I get too stressed, like a marshmallow. :D
  • Can I be in too? :) SW (25/7/2011) - 160lbs GW (31/10/11) - 140lbs GW (25/12/11) - 130lbs I'm going to 2 Halloween parties, one I'm dressing up as a male TV character [but the clothes I've chosen need a skinny figure!] & the other I'm dressing up as my favourite singer, Taylor Momsen. If you have heard of her, you'll know…
  • I've seen both. Went to my doctor & he referred me to the psychologist. Neither of them want to put me on medication. Doctor says he dislikes putting people my age on medication & it's not a wise use of the Countries money [I'm on the NHS]. Then again, my doctor refuses to do ANYTHING for me. I've had so many problems over…
  • Probably Taylor Momsen! But she has such a different built to me, I know it's not possible haha. I'd have bigger hips & bigger boobs but I'd love to be as slim as she is. She's so gorgeous. I'm about 3 inches taller than her though, so y'know, being slightly bigger in those two areas will probably look better on me.
  • I've recently been diagnosed with depression & anxiety. I think the major downfall is it makes me too nervous to go to the gym by myself. I want to so much, I quite enjoy going [I've been a couple times with my sister but she now refuses] as I just put my music on & get on with it but now that I have no one to go with..…
  • A pescatarian is someone who doesn't eat meat but does eat fish & dairy. A lot of people don't bother to call themselves pescatarian & just say they're vegetarian even though they're not so the word pescatarian doesn't get used a lot. Also, I've known many people life off less than 1,200 calories a day & get along fine. It…
  • You look amazing, such a big difference, well done! :)
  • Reading all of this not only helps the OP but me as well! I've been wanting a boob job for a while now as I lost weight so my boobs have sagged slightly & one is bigger than the other [I know that's pretty normal, but mine is really noticeable...]. I'm currently a 32E [in Katie Price bras, sometimes bigger, sometimes…
  • Nothing has been logged for a few months because I got so fed up I pretty much quit. I was logging every day for a month or two before then, though. I was dedicated as hell but I just got so discouraged by the lack of weight loss that I didn't see a point in trying any more but now, I definitely see a a point considering…
  • 5foot11 & aiming for 140 maximum. :)
  • Well done! :D Keep up the hard work & you'll be getting where you want to be in no time. :)
  • Lost 3 pounds so far, at 154lbs right now, aiming for 135lbs by the end of May.
  • I know how you feel. I used to be a UK 16 & felt happy with myself, my weight never bothered me. But now I've dropped the weight, I'm down to a UK 10/12 & feel horrible, feel bigger than I ever have before. I think it's mostly 'cause where my skin was stretched out from being bigger & how fast I lost the weight, my skin…
  • I'm 5foot11 with [apparently!] a small frame. Whenever I tell people my real goal, they instantly think it's too little, I'll look skeletal. But I know my body. I know what I'll look like. At 140 I was still podgy so I know my body can handle being put down a bit further. If you feel you can get there & feel good about…
  • Every person on here, that I've seen, has said that you must have minimum net calories of 1,200. Otherwise your body goes into starvation mode. Which basically means you're body will store everything you eat & losing weight can become a hell of a lot harder! Do as MFP says, it's worked for most of us. :)
  • I only focus on my calories. If I go over with anything else, it doesn't bother me so much, unless it's by a fair amount. But I'd keep tracking fat otherwise things may go wrong, might eat more fat than you'll realise. It's nice to have them there just as a ''just in case'' kinda thing.
  • 5foot11. 154pounds. UK size 10/12. Shoe size 7/8.
  • I'm obsessed with Lostprophets - Start Something album. It's got a great beat to work out to, angry enough to make you push forward & the lead singer is hot, which is like "If I keep pushing maybe people will notice me" kinda thing.
