eat and try not to go over maintenance. dont put yourself through headaches just to lose weight, this is supposed to be a life long change, i doubt you want to deal with headaches for the rest of your life

nothing derailed me because i would quit before i ever saw any results i compare it more to a push lawn mower. may have taken a couple of pulls to get it started, but once i did i cut the whole lawn in one go

I have yet to try a flavoured beer that comes anything close to even the worst of regular beers. i just cant do the mix, beer and that sugary flavour kill my stomach on top of not tasting all that great

pretty much. people expect some extreme drastic crap when they see weight loss its a shame really, so many more people would be withing a healthy bf% if the correct info was out there for everyone. nutrition should be a mandatory class in highschool

homemade soup is usually low cal enough that it doesnt make much of a difference, but just give it a good stir to mix it up and measure a cup of liquid with the solids mixed in. i have bowls that measure out 3 cups exactly so i often dont have to pre measure

depends on the person. for me it was about 30 lbs. keep in mind they may be noticing but just not saying anything. many people avoid commenting on weight since a gain or loss can be for any number of reasons including sickness or other negative issues

You can't make that conclusion based on your information. You could have gained several pounds were you NOT going to the gym, and there are additional benefits to exercise outside of calorie expenditure.
