Awesome post. Might need to read it often as a reminder and keep me in the real world about my goals!

Really amazing! Congratulations on such an achievement!

Monday morning and I'm feeling unusually chirpy. I'm going to say it was down to the good food I ate yesterday as well as the amazing workout I did. I guess it was just a good day with the effects knocking on to today. I hope it lasts for the week! I'm feeling motivated today - see if I say the same after work! Tonight…

Hey all! It was my weigh in day today and turns out I've lost nothing! I see this as a positive, nothing gained and for the amount of bad food I shouldn't have eaten I feel like this is an achievement. It's been that 'special' week for me so this could just be a blip. But I know now I have no excuses for anymore bad eating…

I had a bit of a carb fest this weekend - I'll need some of these recipes to counter it!!

Happy Monday morning! Well this week I skipped my weigh in as I've had a bit of a poor week with food, being ill, in not fit state to exercise and then a weekend out on a hen do (this did involve a dance class though which was more of a cardio than we were expecting!) . I didn't think I'd need the scales to tell me that my…

Thanks for the advice. I think I have been very focused on weight loss and sticking to my exercise that I may have got a bit stressed out about messing it up. I think until I'm 100% better, I'll use my energy on that before anything else! Thanks :)

I like to think how relaxed (and a little smug) I'll feel afterwards. It's a great feeling to start the day with and puts me in a great mood!

I have the feeling that this week I'm going to have a poor weight loss week. I've been ill since sunday and been following the rule of 'feed a cold - starve a fever'. As a result I've eaten waaay to much this week and haven't had the motivation to get my butt to the gym (that said I did do a little workout at home Tuesday…

Today is my weigh in day. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've had a bit of a bumpy week with food, on Thursday a magic packet of biscuits appeared in my hand and the biscuits forced me to eat them- and I was having a bad day! On the exercise front I've been on form, 4 intense 45 min sessions at the gym. Though a success.…

I have a basic and very easy to use Beurer PM45. It was a present from my parents at Christmas and it does the job. Though I think that on the odd occasion the calories are wrong. I'm happy with it, but wouldn't mind an upgrade!

I've hit it too :( I have heard that changing one of the three things will help. Cardio, resistance training and calorie intake. I'm going to try changing one of these and see what happens!

On the odd occasion I have had someone on the machine next to me peer over to see what level I'm working out on, then they feel like they have to outdo me! It's quite annoying having some stranger looking at your machine every minute. I would like to be left alone to concentrate on what I'm doing and not feel like someone…

I live in a flat too and have often do home workouts. The floorboards are creaky and I think I make the odd loud thump noise when I'm doing something like jacks, but they haven't complained. They have asked if someone was doing exercise, but I think most people are understanding if you aren't working out above their…

I used to have sandwiches all the time too for lunch. I managed to switch to a mix of filled pittas or wraps (wholemeal) as it was less breaddy. I have now removed the wheat completely from my lunches and just a have a big salad or leftovers from the night before. The thought of going cold turkey with my beloved bread was…

I'd love to try this out with you all. Theres a lot of birthdays around that time and I have been a bit lazy with my food diary. Hopefully this will give me the motivation to keep myself on track and have a body I'm happy with for my birthday!!

I tend to stick to doing a light cardio warm up then some weights/resistance machines followed by a more intense bit of cardio and a cool down & stretch. It took me a while to figure out a routine that I was happy with, but it's down to you and testing out what works for you. Every now and then I change something & mix it…

It might be worth getting yourself an iPod shuffle. I use one and as it's small I never notice its there when I work out. They are a bargin price as well and I've had mine for years - I'd say they are worth the money. Though this would mean you would have to invest in something else like a pedometer to track your distance…

I find that if you can get to a pool at lunch and dinner time when everyone else is stuffing their faces & letting their food go down, then it's usually a lot less busy.

I'm in the same situation! I'm with you.

Gabriella Cilmi - On a Mission It has very motivating lyrics and a good beat to work out to!
