New to the group
Hey everyone! New to the group, but I have been running for the last few years. Completed several 10ks and 1 half marathon (don't think I'll be doing another!) My goals have always been to run the whole race without walking, but this year I've decided I want to do a sub 1 hour 10k. Any advice on how to this would be great!…

Tapering
I'm currently tapering for a 10k run, but I'm finding it so hard! I'm trying to stay active by getting in a good amount of walking, but I am itching to go for a longish run as I feel like I will lose my focus. What do you guys do to stay sane while tapering??

Restarting my Journey
Hey! I'm from London, England and I used MFP about 3 years ago and managed to lose about 2st. Since I stopped logging, I fell off the wagon and over time I've just stayed about the same since. I want to get back on it as I have a holiday planned for late September and I'm hoping starting now will mean I can get to…

My 30 Day Shred Results
I had 30 days before I went away on holiday before Christmas so I thought I would give this 30 Day Shred a try. Even though I am not a fan of Jillian, my friend told me to stick with it. Glad I did! I forgot to get the tape measure out, but the photos show a few inches from the stomach gone and I lost 7lbs. Also proud of…

Stuck in a zone
I've been counting calories and exercising for coming up to 2 years now. This time last year I had lost 28 lbs and was down to 154lbs. Not bad for a years work! Since then I've gained lbs and keep yo-yoing between 160 - 165 lbs and this has been going on since about October. I've read posts with people in similar positions…

Dress NSV
I ordered a dress last week online. I thought I would go for the smaller ambitions size normally a UK (size 16/14 in dresses) so that when summer comes I'll be nice and toned and have a nice dress to wear and feel happy in after its sat in the wardrobe for a few months. It arrived today and it fits!! UK size 12, US 8 and…

Eating Out Tonight
My boyfriend and I have been invited out tonight for a meal with friends. We are both trying to eat well, but we are going to an Italian restaurant and alarm bells started ringing in my ears as everything will be white carbs. I don't mind a bit of an indulge, especially as I've planned in a high burn workout this morning,…

Little confidence boosting NSV
I was out shopping and tried a few clothes on. Oddly enough the first thing I noticed when trying on a new top was the difference in my shoulders, only after 2 weeks of P90, they are starting to look toned and like they don't belong to me. This made me happy :-) I then tried to top on, to find that the sleeves didn't choke…

Tasty Shakes?
I have been given a load of Maxitone goodies for Christmas including the shakes. Today I thought I would give them a go, just to taste and get used to the shaker, I have only tired the sculptress strawberry. I wasn't too impressed with the flavour as reviews of them seem to say they taste really good and I couldn't take…

Support Needed
Hi All. I have been a bit bad recently with the food & exercise, mostly down to indulging myself a bit too much over my birthday. However, I have 23 days until I go on holiday and want to get rid of all of that excess wobble! And I am determined to do this! I need as many people to help me and support me in my re-start and…

Gluten Free Snacks
My boyfriend has been advised by our doctor to try the gluten free diet for a while. As it's only the doctors suggestion, we have just been dropped into it without any guidance or tips, very helpful I know! As its a drastic change for him, I have said that I will go along with it for a while to support him (and I am…

Exercise Program & Gym?
I used to do P90x on an almost daily basis. I enjoyed it and the weight was coming off. However in the last few months I've not been able to follow this as well as I have since I signed up to the gym. I got my gym membership with my boyfriend and we go along 3/4 times a week to make sure that we both get exercise in and…

Kettlebell Workouts
I have just had a tidy up of my 2nd bedroom/study/dining room/ workout room and found a 5kg kettle bell which I forgot I had. I am keen to use it as many people have recommended them. I was wondering if anyone had any workouts that are online or if you can suggest any dvd's or videos that I could get hold of? I have seen…

Another HRM Question
I received a Beurer PM 45 HRM as a Christmas present last year. It's a good little device and its simple to use, although I do have one problem with it. When I am at the gym, sometimes my heart rate isn't being displayed on the watch - in particular on the treadmill and I cannot say for sure if my HRM is tracking correctly…
