  • I'm 23, feel free to add me :-)
  • Feel free to add me as a friend for a start :-P I found that all the little victories keep me motivated, staying under calories, having a workout you are proud, having to use that smaller hole on your belt.
  • Log everything! When I have bad days I hate logging, just like how I hate checking my bank balance sometimes! It's just one of those things you need to do in order to see what you're doing and that you're staying on course. If you don't log, you're only cheating yourself
  • I am in the same boat! I have a low fat hot chocolate, about 40 cals or so to hit that craving on the head, other times I have a Skinny Cow ice cream
  • Bit of an odd attitude. If you aren't willing to listen to people rant about their issues when they need your support (or a good old moan!), why should people be there for you when you need to let off steam?
  • I understand where you are coming from! And I am also having a day I'd rather forget. My problem with the weight was going to university and eating junk/drinking was faaar to easy. If I had a time machine I'd show myself from 4 years ago a photo of me when I was at my heaviest and say 'Don't have that take away/chocolate…
  • Raw carrots and peppers as well as spinach and salads (I used to think they just tasted of water and were pointless a few years ago!)
  • As I am not working at the moment, I like to have a bit of background TV on. In the UK at midday there's a bit of 'Don't tell the Bride' on followed at 1 by '4 weddings'. It's hard to watch that and not think about how you would do things, better of course!
  • Great job! I am on week 2 of P90 and starting to run out of inspiration. You've sorted that out!
  • Awesome video! They could follow up with don't be that girl at the gym.
  • You can add me. I was super active, went AWOL for a while and now active again!
  • Exactly this! It was pricey well £60, but it's a great investment. I can't imagine not working out and not knowing my HR now

  • On a family holiday in 2010, my mum asked about my weight and so I told her what I thought I was. The reply was 'The only time I was that heavy was when I was pregnant with your brother' It was the wake up call I needed to get my butt in gear!
  • Like other people, it was bread for me. I swapped to things like pitta and wraps and got on well, but when I have a treat of a fresh roll or sliced white bread. I love it so much! Just need to be careful I don't get addicted to it again!
  • My thunder thighs!
  • Best advise I was given about squats was from my mum. She told me I needed imagine you a about to sit down and stick out your bum with your chest staying up, looking straight ahead and not forgetting to breath! Think about the muscle groups that need to engage, including your abs and this might make a difference. I think…
  • 1. Even though I didn't want to, I managed to do some weight training and burn off 270 calories in the process! 2. Broke my press up record! OK - it was only 9 of the knee style ones, but 2 weeks ago, I refused the accept that I could do them and only super humans could do them. Pretty chuffed with myself!
  • I second this! I love the 'happy' metal, as well as the classic stuff too. My mum took me to an Iron Maiden concert when I was still in her tummy and I have loved the style of music ever since
  • There's only 2 of these in the UK, both in London and I had to visit both it's so good! My boyfriend had heard of it from his love of American TV and said we had to go. I couldn't believe how nice it was and we ended up going twice and trying all the flavours. It was easily one of the nicest things I've ever eaten - and…

  • I think I might be going to Nandos tomorrow with friends so I thought I would plan my meal before I went http://www.nandos.co.uk/themenu The link above takes you to the menu, click nutrition under anything to get cals, fat, etc. if anyone's interested. I was shocked at some of them. The chips having over 350 cals for a…
  • I can't eat : Curry without mango chutney Bacon without brown sauce Roast dinner without gravy
  • That's a great idea! I might just have to steal that one :-)
  • I usually have plain roast turkey in mine, spiced up with some sweet chilli/BBQ sauce and some salad.
  • Walking increases your heart rate and is defiantly exercise. More importantly you enjoy the walking. Keep it up :-)
  • I'm 5'5 and eat 1300 - 1500 cal a day. I like to do P90x when I'm feeling energetic and take long walks when I'm not feeling so energetic with 2 days off a week. I am hoping to lose 1lb a week.
  • When I started I found it so hard, especially with pub food with all the comfort and hearty favourites!! I found making a few small changes, not having wine with my meal, cutting down on dessert afterwards (I started off by sharing, then not having one at all). The thing I did find hardest of all though, was having the…

  • Heey! I'm 23 and from the UK. Feel free to add me :-)
  • My roots coming though  then my waist and curves. I love them, but they just need a bit more fine tuning!
  • I have this problem as well. I get into a routine during the week, meal times are the same, portion sizes stay similar and then at the weekend, I have lie-ins and see the temptations everywhere. I found sticking to the same breakfast, lunch and dinner times the same at the weekend hard, but helpful. As long as you do the…
  • Men looking at women in a disapproving way when they go near the free weights or resistance machines. It is quite rude.
