  • I'm 5'2", started at 151 pounds, lowest so far has been 128lbs. Then had a stressful few months with moving house/getting married etc and am back up to around 135lbs. Darn it! Aiming for 125lbs. Happy to make new friends if anyone wants to add me :)
  • Wow, great work, what a difference already!
  • I got my fitbit last Tuesday and I love it! I love challenging myself to beating my step record. Would love other friends for motivation and challenges. https://www.fitbit.com/user/3FP8DH 30 year old from Dorset, UK.
  • I'm 5'2" and aiming for 125lbs, maybe 120lbs after that. I'm curvy too (32F boobs here too after 2 babies and nursing; but they are gradually going down with the weight loss too, at long last!). I'm 130lbs at the moment and still don't feel entirely comfortable, there's definitely some loss left to be had and lots of…
  • The only time I have ever been slim was back in my early twenties - and that was because of an extremely unhealthy lifestyle and taking a lot of things I shouldn't be. I met my partner, stayed clean for several years, given up smoking and cut down my drinking and then have had my children. I'm nearly 30 now and want to…
  • Your post really called to me as I am in the same position, just not nearly at the half marathon level yet. But I started running a few months ago, and like you, was so freaking happy when I managed that first 3 minute stint! This weekend I managed 8 miles and nearly an hour of running. My aim is a half marathon next year…
  • I'm down in Dorset, 29 years old and a mum of a one year old and a two year old. I'm trying to lose all the weight I put on whilst pregnant with them both! I have nearly hit my target but am hoping to lose another few pounds afterwards and for once in my life be slim, healthy and fit! I'm getting really into my running - I…
  • I'm aiming to start in January! I'll be going once a month to the Poole Park run. Can't do anymore than that as my other half works so I need to find childcare for our kidlets so i'll be paying to go but I desperately want to try it! Just finished the C25k and am starting the 10k one now. A proper park run seems so…
  • My most recent was this weekend. I have been doing running on and off for the past year but only really got back on it properly over the last few weeks. I managed to run for an entire hour on the treadmill covering a distance of 7.9 miles. It wasn't so long ago I could barely manage 3 minutes. I was SO happy. Best feeling…
  • Hi there! It can be disheartening when those scales don't move - but it sounds like you're definitely on the right track. I always don't lose or even put some on during that time of the month, only for it to drop right off the week after so keep faith! I'm sure you'll see some progress next week. Have fun and good luck! :)
  • I'm always seeking active friends! I'm 29, a mother of 2 and part time worker living in South England trying to lose my last 10lbs through diet and running. Feel free to add me! :)
  • Add me! I'm 5'2", currently 132 pounds and aiming for 125 at the moment, although I may lower this when I get there! I started at 151lbs in April, have had a couple of breaks but am back on it now to lose the final bit! I love having friends on here to motivate, so happy for anyone to add :)
  • Friend request sent - I have a 2.5 year old and a 16 month old and am trying hard to get back in shape after my pregnancies too. Good luck! :)
  • I sent you a friend request as I'm in a similar boat! :)
  • Sanity break - I like it! Feels the same to me sometimes! I'm pretty lucky as my gym has a free creche for 2 hours every morning Monday - Friday (but I work thurs and fris) so I don't *really* have an excuse to not go! It feels quite nice to have 2 hours to myself those mornings, it's just pushing through the tiredness to…
  • 6! Wow - i hope my daughter sleeps through quicker than that but apparently my brother and I didn't until we started school either - agh! I agree about setting a good example. Well done on the C25k! I pushed it today and managed a full 30 minutes but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it again in a hurry, I imagine I'm…
  • Great way to think about it! Plus I'd love to be more fit so I can loads more with them. They are super motivators for sure!
  • Feel free to add me. I'm from Dorset and in a similar situation - two very small children (both under 3) one of whom is still one BAD sleeper which makes it hard to stay focused/eating well/exercising etc! Looking for more active MFP buddies for encouragement :)
  • Feel free to add me as well - I need more buddies on here for encouragement! I'm the same height as you (5'2") and have been doing MFP on and off since April and have lost 16lbs so far. My first goal is to get to 131lbs - which is about what I was pre-children, then I wanna push it back to 120-125lb. I'm not far off now…
