SAHM & work from home as well :)

Agreed! They actually did a study on rats using cocain and sugar...in the end the rats went for the sugar. Processed sugar actually lights up the same parts of the brain as Cocain does. It's really nasty to think about how much we consume!
-
My point exactly. Thank you :)

Oh can I ever relate! Sugar has been my enemy since I was a kid. Gives me acne, I lose control and binge eat it, and I get a bubble belly! I tried giving up sugar (like %90) awhile ago and it made a huge difference. It's hard, but I used maple syrup and fruits to sweeten up my life. I'd like to try this again...cut way…

21 Day fix isn't just a bunch of tiny containers. There is also a full 60 Day workout program included, as well as the meal plan which breaks foods down into catagories (fruits, veggies, fats, carbs, ect). It's a fantastic kit for people who might feel completely lost. Not everyone knows there way around enough to use…

I use a Stability Ball cause I don't have a bench at home. All kinds of push ups and decline push ups for the chest.

You could do some searching online as to what you should be doing and on what days. I do strength training at home and follow DVD's. I find it so much easier and cheaper! If that's not for you tho and you do prefer the gym, you're best bet is to just Google some ideas or ask a trainer at the gym for help.

Did PiYo as well....felt stronger, taller, more flexible, better runner, and better moods! Def a great program and worth every cent.
-
I e-mailed both of you. The bootcamp will start on Oct. 13th.
-
I'd say T25 or P90....both are about the same time frame. P90 just came out and it's sort of an entrance into the whole P90X series.
-
Just sent you a message! :)
-
I did Piyo after T25 actually. I know, completely different but it worked. Gave me a small break but still broke a sweat. Sometimes your body gets bored and comfortable in one type of workout, so it's good to change it up :) But ultimately the choice is yours.

Are you doing 2 hours a day?
-
I love eggs! Only reason there is any concern about eggs is because of the Cholesterol in the yolk. But eggs in a whole are very healthy! I consider it a staple food in my diet! You should try 2 eggs & 2 tbsp cottage cheese scrambled together...yum!
-
I follow the 21 Day Fix meal plan with the 1,200-1,499 calories per day plan. I don't eat grains, I cut out processed sugar %90 as well as dairy (I still eat cottage cheese and a few other dairy products), I only drink water & herbal/green tea, and I am vegetarian (altho I still eat seafood). Some may say it sounds hard…

Starts Monday October 6th...

I have been reading through some of these posts and I wanna start out by saying I am a Beachbody Coach....judge me as you wish, but here is MY story... My mom passed of breast cancer when she was 34 and I was just about 11/12 at the time. This has impacted my life since then. There were never any answers, but I took this…

I am a Coach and I love this answer :) Thank you for posting!

I think motivation is something that we must practice everyday. We each have to find something that does it for us. For me it's my Support Group online and remembering what I want more. I love being fit and I want to reach all my goals more than I want that extra piece of cake. Is it always easy? Hell no! Sometimes I…

If you factor in that in the US, and Canada as well, a lot of people who have busy schedules grab lunch at fast food joints that cost about $5-$10 a day, do the math.....the Shakes are about the same ;)
-
Never tried the Body attack but I am in love with Les Mills Combat, have you ever tried that?
-
Thanks for clearing that up Calamarione! I did in fact mean Cancer Preventing. I in no way meant that if you have Cancer Shakeology will fight it off. Again, I did not post any of this to start an argument. Everyone is free to do as they choose. I personally take Shakeology, that's my choice, and I feel a lot healthier and…
-
I'm just going to add my two cents, not looking to create any heat here. But Shakeology is more than a meal replacement/protein shake. If you look up the ingredients you will see it's a superfood shake, packed with 90 different ingredients. It's also your daily vitamins/minerals, as well as probiotics, omega's, cancer…

I think you'll be fine skipping ahead. I was on week 2 and found it a little too easy, so I skipped to week 4. Worst case I'd stop jogging for 10-15 seconds and then go again til it was time to walk. :)
-
Fantastic work! I can't see your pics as I am not a friend on MFP, but your profile pic is awesome! I'm thinking of starting up Body Beast soon. :D
-
Hmm, both running and T25 can be hard on the knees. But if you modify with T25 then you should be fine. So long as you know your limits, whatever you decide to do, and don't push yourself too hard. :)
-
Welcome! You are going to find tons of support here! Feel free to add me :)
-
I think it should be fine. You're not overexerting yourself, just make sure you listen to your body when it tells you it needs rest :) And for fat burning, maybe try running with ankle weights 2-4 times a week. It'll help build resistance.
-
Thank you! This is very helpful. I ran last night and the pain subsided. So maybe was just a beginners cramps? Hopefully it doesn't come back. I find with all the stretches I do with PiYo it helps a lot with running! I'll check out IT band stretches tho if it returns :)

Agreed!!
