Record everything. Not trying to trick the scales, that's only really a trick on me.

It's not for everyone, but it works for me well. I am around 40 days into my plan http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/PDarrall/view/the-plan-how-to-stop-being-a-fat-*kitten*-609711 To be honest I find it a very easy way of hitting my goals, but most people I know think they could not do it. Preparation is key though.

Also in your case, don't measure yourself daily. You are being far too sensitive to minor changes in weight and will get disappointed. I have had weight gain and stalls within the month. I have had periods where everything is right and I have put on almost 3lbs.
-
Keep eating that amount and your metabolism will plummet. Sure you will lose weight, but not sustainably, nor particular fast. You need to eat more. Your stats are fairly similar to mine. I have lost 8kg in just over a month. Way faster than your current rate of 3lbs but I am eating nearly 1550 calories a day.

208 - 154 = 54 54 / 208 = 0.259 26%

Drinking 14 cans a week of Coke Zero. Sure I would like to drink less, but I am still losing weight.

It's a really good programme, combined with diet I have lost over 7kg (16lbs) in a month. However I burn typically less than 300 calories and I would have thought with you not having too much to lose, 300 calories will be tough to achieve. Don't let that put you off T25 though.

Consider T25 Focus from Shaun T instead of Insanity.

BUMP :)

Indeed. One step at a time, at some point I will start reducing this as well. Am aware of the side effects of sweeteners, and so am keeping an eye on this, but so far, no real issues.

Nope, about 14 a week.

Thanks Lexi, I get the eat whatever you want idea, but as you say, that don't work with 30 cans a week. Eat more, I will definitely try that over next 2 weeks and see what difference it makes as I experiment.

We may be at cross purposes here. I used to consume too much sugar - calorie surplus - I put on weight. Currently I have switched my sugar habits - calorie deficit - I am losing weight. Over the first month I have lost around 7kg and have had a calorie deficit or around 700 calories per day. Would lowering that deficit to…

Not sure I agree. I am not over eating, I am over drinking. And the main element in that drink is sugar. And the real issue is the quantity of sugar. Sugar in drink is the cause of being over my calories, as opposed to calories from other sources. Additionally, I realise that is the cause of the calories, thus by changing…

Ah ok, more detail. My TDEE is about 2,200 from my calculations. I sit down all day and live a relatively sedantry life style. I am doing Focus T25, which is a 25 minute HIIT routine 5/6 times a week. I eat those calories back, so my total calorie intake is around 1,500 a day. Have thought about getting my calories nearer…
-
Stats? I think I am eating enough, about 1,500 calories a day. I eat throughout the day with healthy snacks and three meals.

That's true, I had noticed a lack of fruit in the diary. There is vegetables. I will try adding some over next few days and see what happens.
-
Combined with a diet, I have lost 7kg in four weeks so far :) Love T25

Yeah definitely

Cheers, thanks

Interesting. Had eaten three hours before (so not a factor). May have worked myself too hard. First time I have really gone full out on planks etc for 25 minutes.

BUMP

I'm a no.

The hardest part is finding something that works for you and the reality is that is usually something which is a lifestyle change rather than a diet. Losing weight slowly and surely as opposed to expecting a fast drop through more extreme measures. Maybe set a lower weight loss on MFP a week?…

Never got why anyone likes Subway, just the smell puts me off.

Being defined as obese officially. Please to say that is no longer true. Now just to get rid of the overweight title.
