Tea is a main meal like Breakfast and Lunch but some people here call Lunch "Dinner", lol Supper is after tea in the evening and is usually something light like Toast etc.
-
Tea in the UK means Dinner.

As long as you are under your calorie intake then yes eat away.

Like I said there's a difference between exercising to LOSE weight and what the OP's question was which is having trouble losing weight and long distance running, which the OP's has said DOESN'T WORK.
-
I haven't made a claim, I simply said from what I understand exercising to LOSE weight shouldn't be more than a hour at a time. Don't forget you have to consider a persons starting weight which if you are obese, then an hours exercise or more will be pretty tough particularly if you haven't done much exercise before.…
-
Well explain then?
-
I think were getting confused between exercising to lose weight and simply just partaking in your sport as a means and not to lose weight.
-
Nothing, just looks a bit odd on your part. Boyo is slang.
-
Really? Explain boyo.
-
From what I understand doing any exercise for more than an hour is counter productive. Try interval training which is short bursts of sprinting whilst your running/jogging.

I can confirm that the item with the most calories is..... The Chicken McNuggets x 20 at 885 calories.

I went to McDonalds last weekend had a tea then grabbed one of their nutritional sheets which I have infront of me which lists all the calories, protein, fat, carbs, fibre salt and allergen info in all of their meal and drinks. Very interesting as some of their meals are lower in calories than you would think. I posted on…

But how much should you indulge on your cheat day? is it ok to say have a fried breakfast, nuts and crisps for snacks, a KFC, then a takeaway for dinner then some beer?
-
Yep.
-
Ok thanks, I have and want to eat healthier foods but sometimes for dinner I just want to have something quick but as long as I log the food and stay under my calorie intake I should be ok.
-
So it doesn't really matter if for one meal daily you have processed, pre-packaged or microwaveble food? or even a takeaway as long as you know the portion size and calories?
-
I log everything I eat. But I have gone over my calories today so will go for a long walk tomorrow. Btw does a day log go from Midnight to Midnight?
-
Weigh yourself once a week, in the morning just after you have got up.
-
Yes I am logging all food and drinks I eat. I only drink once a week so I can hardly think that 4 beers is going to derail my progress. I'll probably go over my cal limit tonight then for the rest of the 6 days I'll stick within my cal limit. Btw I have been doing this 3 weeks before I bought some scales and signed up on…
-
So if I drink tonight and I go for a 5 mile walk at a moderate pace (3mph), I would most likely burn most of the extra calories off?
-
Sounds like your body doesn't know whether to come or go.
-
115 x 3(75g) is 354.

I was eating 1500 cals for a few weeks but constantly felt hungry, so I have now upped it to 1700 which is 200 cal less than my TDEE as I want to lose about a stone to get to my target weight.
-
Apparently upping it to 1900 cal would be more suitable according to one calculator.
-
Thought I would just add that I was tracking it all through the myfitnesspal app on my phone on another profile and most days kept within the 1500 cal limit. I bought some scales today and weighed myself and wasn't surprised. What's TDEE?
