  • You look like a buddy I could use!
  • It's really hard to find people in a certain area. The site used to be better at narrowing it down but not so much anymore.
  • Columbia, South Carolina
  • I am just now starting to gear up myself. I plan on going to out to a fitbit tomorrow and trying to move my booty more. I will send a friend request!
  • Hey Alicia, I am a 33 year old mother of 2 who has also struggled most of my life with weight. I am ready to start fighting the fight again myself. You're young and have your whole life ahead of you...you can do this my dear!!
  • I am also trying to get back in the game. I too lost about 50lbs a few year ago and it's all back! So frustrating and always a struggle.
  • I am just starting dabbling in the eating clean. I am just so tired of being tired. I would love to be apart of the group and eager to have friends to bounce ideas off of
  • I won't get into my story too much but yes, I have the same fears. I too lost weight a couple of years ago and started to get attention from everyone (esp men). It was great but ultimatly I became someone I was not proud of. I played into the cutsie girl act at work and in the end my marriage suffered and so did some of my…
  • ME ME ME!!! I have the DVD, need to take the plastic off for it to actually work...right :)
  • The motivation has to come from her (no duh) but you can help.... a lot!!! As a wife a a skinny butt, do not bring anything around her she can't or should not eat. If you guys go out, explore healthy options. Most importantly love her, unconditionally and make sure she knows she is beautiful! I know if my hubby suggests…
  • It's life's sick joke on us women. I had a ton of loose skin after having my children (and before) had the whole hangy stomach, ended up getting a tummy tuck. The truth is most of it is probably in your head. I am sure you don't look nearly as bad as you think. Remember confidence on ANYONE is sexy so rock it out and keep…
  • I think one of the biggest issues with weightloss is our desire to get immediate gratification. It has always been my issue, if I can't be where I want to whenI want to then what's the point?? Well, I have learned that is just not the way it is going to work. The other poster is correct although it seems like it we do not…
  • my wife is debating this, I rather her really work out hard and get to her place of happiness, but she works 12 hour shifts and is often to tired to work out. This might be an option for her **If she has skin issues there is not enough working out in the world to make her belly the way she would want it** Having said that…
  • I think that is wonderful, I too try stay away from treadmills and am NOT a runner so I think that is great!!! Yay for switching it up and trying something new!!!!
  • Don't know about words of wisdom but I can totally sympathize. I blew it this weekend and it has totally affected my mood. Even while I was blowing it I was a total B to my hubby. I knew I was going to hate myself for eating all the crap I did but I did it anyway I am not sure why I sabatoge myself. Needless to say I have…
  • Girl, today you are my inspiration, you look wonderful!!!
  • I agree it must just be an oops in measuring, if you don't hold it just right everytime you are bound to getting crazy stuff happening :) Just keep it up, you know you are working hard and taking steps in the right direction. I used to be OBSESSED with weighing myself everyday but fortunatly have been able to kick the…
  • I love that one of your milestones is when you weighed less than your husband. I feel the same way, after 8 years of marriage he and I weigh about the same so I can totally see that being a huge goal of mine. Keep up the good work, you look wonderful
  • Wow, you look amazing, you carry your weight really well anyway, I would have never guessed you weigh what you do now.
  • You just have to get your head back in it. Remember all the reasons why you wanted/needed to lose in the first place. I have a "fat pic" of me taped right on my moniter here at work so I get to see that all day long. I too have gained the last couple of weeks after loosing over 40lbs since Oct and doing so well in…
  • I am a bread lover as well. I started doing a low carb diet back in October and quickly lost 40lbs. Although I have added back many many :) carbs I have been able to maintain. I know this is so not the same but you can try Wasa crackers for some stuff, they are hard to get used to but once you do they really are not that…
  • I have also lost some weight but need to tone up BIG time, have been overweight most of my life and never been much on exercise but I am trying and being pretty consistant with it too....good luck, just make yourself a manageable routine and do you best to keep up with it.

  • I am also a newbie who quit smoking in January. I lost almost 40lbs from Oct to the end of December and thought it was time to kick one more habit but with that last 15lbs to go it sure has been tough. Good luck to you!!!
