Me too. I'm 5'7" and would be happy at 150 - but 145 or 140 would be wonderful. Can't even quite imagine it now. I think 130 would be skinny for me.

Me too. Steamed chicken and brocolli with brown rice. The brown sauce is on the side, so I don't have to glop it all up! I think it's the healthiest option for Chinese food. :)

Wow. She is SOOO beautiful!!! And so lucky to have a guy like you to support her and be proud of her!! :drinker:

Soooooo unbelievable!!! I love every word you wrote too, concerning your journey, and your way of thinking about it all. I think most of us here can relate. I know what you mean about not needing the weight to "protect" you anymore. I am going through that now - pushing through the "fear" of losing the weight. Now that I'm…

I had this too.!!!!! I finally figured out it was TOO MUCH FIBER!!!! I can't handle things with 5 or more grams of fiber!! It was really painful. I have eliminated high fiber foods from my diet, and now I'm fine. Also, aspartame (artificial sweetener) can cause stomach aches, and gas and diareah too. Hope your feeling…

Thanks everyone!!! :blushing:

Wow. You are so pretty. You look fantastic, and must feel so great. Thanks for the words of encouragement about getting back "on." - I haven't fallen off the wagon yet, but I'm sure I will. All part of the "journey." Thanks for sharing!!!!

Yes!!!! This is awesome. I was calling it the "Last Resort" bra from Title 9. But this is it. Enell. Awesome.
-
Check out "Title 9" - they have a website. Look at the "Last Resort" bra. It ain't pretty, but you will not move!!!! It's the only one that really works for me. Not cheap either ($50 - $60) but well worth the money, and seem to be holding up really well to my constant washing and drying them. Good luck.
-
Wow~ You look great!!!! And Tiny!!! What size are you now??? What size were you before??? You are truly an inspiration to me!!!! Thank you for sharing. You must feel amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. I eat a bowl of old fashioned oatmeal in the morning. For 150 calories - it is worth it. It stays with me and keeps me going until about noon!! It's commonly said to be the most important meal of the day, and I believe that. It just makes sense. You haven't eaten all night while you were sleeping, so it gets your…

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I am finding I really enjoy greek yogurt too. I'm impressed with the amount of protien in them, and think that this helps keep me "full." It's like you're really eating something worthwhile. Funny how all the yogurt brands will jump on the "greek" bandwagon now!!

Cookies...... Hands down!! ANY kind of cookies!! I really just can't have them in the house. I recently bought a new kind of thin "fruit" cookies - only 140 calories for 3 cookies. Guess who couldn't eat just 3?????? uuuuugghhhh!

ABSOLUTELY!!! I was thinking the same thing. I didn't do too bad for Easter, but I definitely think there was lots of Sodium in the foods I ate (including ham). I don't want to hit the scale just yet ---- until I drink Lake Erie too!! lol :drinker:

Wow! Soooo inspiring. Don't ever go back. Keep up the fabulous work on changing your life. You look great, and must feel so great too. Good for you. Thanks for sharing!!! Way to Go!!!!:drinker:

SMILE on the inside - and the outside!!!!! Then get a new bathing suit!!!
-
Agreed. Tuna is kind of my "go to" lunch, and I love the "slim" sandwich breads by Trader Joe's or Stop & Shop. I chop up celery in my tuna, or just with light mayo. Trader Joe's white tuna in water (in the blue can) is delicious!!! and only 60 calories per serving. I eat the whole can, so 120 calories. Do you have a…

I say suck it up and weigh in. This way you'll know how you did next week, compared to where you are now. I go through this dilema myself. I'm always "afraid" to weigh in, especially if I don't feel any thinner. But face the music, and it might get you that much more motivated to do better this week!! Good luck.

I'm in a "holding pattern" too. And I'm a little sad and frustrated, and wondered if I was doing something wrong too. I've been working so hard at the gym doing lots of cardio. I've been making healthy eating choices, logging, and staying within my calories. It's hard when I see other people losing so much so quickly.…

I wish I could eat those!! They sound yummy. The high-fiber stuff really upsets my stomach. I end up with gas, bloating, and severe stomach cramps.

I will be THRILLED at 150!! I know that is a good, realistic weight for me - that hopefully I will be able to maintain!! I'll see when I get there. Maybe I will feel the need to go lower. At that weight, I'm a size 10 (I think - it's been so long). Maybe I'll surprise myself and get in the "140s" - still a long way to…

me too. I had lost 8 pounds (in 3 1/2 weeks) and now i've GAINED 2 back, so a net loss of 6. I was sooooo disappointed when i saw the number on the scale this morning. I have been working out consistently, and tracking my food, etc. I dunno what happened, and I'm nervous going forward.

DON'T let him rent ANY more space in your head!!!!! Sounds like you are doing a hell of a job - especially with all that's on your plate. (pardon the pun) :blushing: You are eating healthy, and not skimping on calories from what it sounds like. Even if you were, HOW WOULD that be contributing to somebody else's…

BEAUTIFUL Post Martha!! I agree with everything you just said. My husband is doing Atkins now, and of course I support him and encourage him, but for ME, I need all the food groups too, and "healthily." Thanks for your post. Perfect.

I eat those too (cottage cheese singles). I also mix in some Dole pineapple tidbits (packed in pineapple juice). Good snack.
