Try mashed swede (rutabaga in the usa) or swede and carrot mashed together with a knob of butter if your calories/macros allow.

I get up at 6am but don't actually eat breakfast until 10am when I have a 6 egg omelette (2 whole eggs, 4 egg whites) with a small side salad.

The polar ft4 is a good reliable HRM and in the uk sells for £55 ish on amazon I personally don't eat back calories burnt but you have to find what works for you.

I would recommend that on your first class when the instructor says add a full turn that you only put on a half turn of resistance until your legs are used to it!

My advice for you is get an appointment with a personal trainer and get him/her to teach you correct form for stronglifts, if you've done it before and hurt yourself there's a good chance that your technique isn't quite right.
