Paper towels (which IMO makes financial sense since the cheap ones are so bad)

    Toilet Paper

Ketchup - I will never ever buy ketchup that isn't Heinz reduced sugar. (not reduced sugar and sodium that **** is nasty)

Cologne - Niche fragrances or something like House of Creed (not the band hehe). I have one bottle of Hugo Boss to keep on dresser so my brother steals that instead of my Millesime Imperial

    body wash/shower gel stuff
makeup in general (not necessarily high end everything, but certain items)
    moisturizer
    athletic footwear
    mattresses

That's about it. But for MANY things I have a specific go to brand that I prefer which are often lower priced generic/store brand items (Big Lots toilet paper, Best Choice coffee, Aldi salmon burgers & hummus, etc)

    cocaine.

If that's in your budget, you're probably not too worried about buying generics.

Is crack the equivalent of generic cocaine? **scrratches head in a mildly confused manner**

Honey. It's gotta be pure and natural or it's just corn syrup and sugar.

Chocolate. 72% or it's not worth the calories.

Coats. I'll wear one I love over and over again so it better last a long time.

    I won't go cheap on...

    Ketchup (Hunt's no HFCS)
    Salad dressings (brand's vary)
    Applesauce (Mott's all-natural)
    Apple juice (Indian Summer)
Certain Greek yogurts (Meijer, Great Value are the only acceptable store brands but I <3 expensive ones, too)
Sour cream (Daisy low-fat or regular)
    Tea (brands vary)
    Coffee (Paramout)
Ice cream (the less ingredients the better)
    Eggs
    Chicken
    Ground meat
Potato chips (Bettermade Rainbows, yes, I know they're burnt. I pay for the convenience of having them all in one bag)
Ginger ale (it's Vernors or nothing)
    Hot dogs (Various brands)

The rest of it you just have to know what you are buying. I will by store brand TP from one store but not another. I buy my tissue at the dollar store, it's Scotties and I <3 it. I buy store brand sugar cereal but I'm still sitting here with a box of store brand "Kashi" I don't know if I'll like it. I buy stuff from Aldi and Wal-Mart, Target and Kroger. Meijer has so like 4 different Meijer brands. Organics, non-GMO (called "Naturals"), regular Meijer brand and maybe Meijer Basics (?) There is so much variety right there. I just don't buy all of my generics in one place.

Oh my god and I will ONLY buy store brand plastic food bags. Ziplocs smell, and your food tastes like Ziploc!!

You're not a southerner so you might not have heard of Duke's Mayo but it is fantastic. Way better than Hellmans. Trust me.
