I love eating Quest bars for a snack between breakfast & lunch. Great source of protein and a good bump up for calories if you're too low.

I started out with the C25K app also. I only did it halfway though before I wanted to just run and see how far I could go. Now I'm at 4.88 miles in 60 minutes. Just do it and don't worry about anyone else. You won't regret it.

Hi there neighbor!! My husband knows him too!! His jet pack is in one of the Smithsonian museums!! I'm in Lockport, NY...suburb of Buffalo...home of the best chicken wings.... wings from anywhere else are pure crap. We also have the best weather, we get to experience all 4 seasons. Sometimes all 4 in 2 days!

I really like the Nike+ app. Mainly because I can add friends from FB and it keeps track everyone's total distance. It motivates me to try and get ahead of them. I also like that during the run, it announces when you hit each mile, your time and average pace.

Definitely wear white. I did Color Me Rad about 2 months ago, we went out to eat after. I just threw on the tshirt that they gave us in the race packet, over the tank top I wore for the run. I love snacking on hard boiled eggs. On the weekends when I have more time I usually make scrambled eggs with a little cheese, some spinach & diced tomatoes. Yum!

2 weeks is not nearly enough time to see much of a difference. Just keep on doing what you're doing and eventually you will start seeing some results.

I love my Quest bars! I use them as a snack in the morning before lunch because they tide me over pretty well.

I will never go to a Planet Fitness. Too much drama associated with that place. I don't agree with a lot of the things that they do. I love my gym, Anytime Fitness! Very clean, any equipment I could want, never have to wait to use something because there's never more than 15 people in at once.
