PRed my clean and jerk at 85 (up from 65) and was beyond pissed that I couldn't get 95#. It is all skill for me vs strength. I CAN clean it but I miss about 90% of the time, my jump is off so I end up killing myself with my arms to clean it. Any way. Cool that I got 85# but super annoyed that I couldn't get 95# and so get…

My PR for the clean and jerk is 75# so no idea if I can get the 85#. I cannot do toes to bar yet. SIGH. Not super excited about the workout.
-
Congrats! I PRed last night and got a 115 deadlife (up from 95).

I am pretty new to crossfit but today I PRed DUs by putting 3 together in a WOD (I've on RARE occasion done this before but never in a WOD). Stringing together for me = 2,1,1,2,1,1,2 unbroken PR back squat of 75# (up from 55 last time).

Hi! I started crossfit in December and got 90 wall balls in for 13.3. I WAY underestimated that workout. I usually WB at 12 so I clearly need to step up my game. It is a great benchmark for me for 2014!

1) Weight loss starts in the kitchen 2) Up your cardio (initially I translated this to walk 60 mins every day)
-
Nice work -- you look great! What a difference! You look a lot younger too!!

SW - 155 lbs (FRIDAY JULY 1) Week 1 - 155 lbs (FRIDAY JULY 8) Week 2 - xxx lbs (FRIDAY JULY 15) Week 3 - xxx lbs (FRIDAY JULY 22) Week 4 - xxx lbs (FRIDAY JULY 29) Total lost - xx lbs (MONDAY AUGUST 1) So no loss -- I am at 154.2 but I don't count a lb until it is a whole lb. See you next week with better results!

I weigh daily and take the long view. I also sometimes weigh at night before bed or after exercise. I LOG first thing in the am weights (not after exercise). For me it doesn't make me obsessive if I haven't lost in a few days -- it helps me understand how my diet impacts my weight.
-
Yeah that. I don't usually eat them ALL back.

cottage cheese peanut butter Greek yogurt do you eat fish? tuna or salmon?

I am doing bootcamp (60 mins) 3 x a week and C25k with a 30 min walk/run added 3 times a week (for a total of 60 cardio minutes per session). I try to get in an extra couple of walk/runs. I am targeting 270-300 mins of cardio a week plus the bootcamp. /

I stopped coffee and went to green tea. It took a week but I got used to it. Still have occasional coffee/milk/sugar cravings but ignore them

I started in March and am at 22 lbs. I am in my initial goal weight but I want to lose MORE! So I changed my ticker.
-
Totally varies. I lost 10 lbs this month. But I've had 2 weeks of NADA. So it depends. Just eat right and exercise and it will happen.
-
Oh I like Emily's list. I say HRM, food scale, weight scale (accurate), sports bra (moving comfort gets my vote), new water bottle, lulumon clothes

I work in an office and set to sedentary. I also currently workout 5-6 times a day but that doesn't count I don't think to lifestyle for that purpose since I account for those calories burned. I assume they would add more calories if you were active etc and I don't need those calories since I sit a lot for my job.

I find if I just get out to do a walk I will DO it. Hardest for me is to start. So I say go for a walk!
