  • I like: Mesclun salad with roasted beets, goat cheese, toasted hazelnuts and vinaigrette. Beet and tomato soup (recipe from Madhur Jaffrey's World of the East Vegetarian Cookbook -- a classic!)- incredibly good. Cabbage borscht (uses beets) Herring under a fur coat (uses beets)
  • My gym membership includes yoga classes -- not too many of them on schedule. Many more people are interested in cycle or zumba classes. I don't like taking yoga at the gym. The class faces the mirror, which means every time you do a forward fold or downward facing dog, your *kitten*-in-the-air is on display through the…

  • Overall, I think it's just too big for her. It doesn't flatter her. Especially don't like those voluminous pant legs, too long, and cuffed.. why??

  • Ooh, I've read a lot of David Sedaris. Maybe I'll like this one, too.
  • That book bored me too. I couldn't finish it. But check out the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith (a pseudonym of J.K. Rowling). It's a series of mysteries. Very interesting protagonist, an absorbing read. Quite good IMO. The Cuckoo's Calling"
  • I have low white pumps which have gotten a lot of wear. :) They're conservative and comfortable. They're good with a black ensemble that has white details, but they're neutral and can be worn with lots of stuff. I don't especially like the ones in the photo. I got sucked into this site while searching for green suits. Not…

  • I'm on the fence as to whether I'd wear this or not. Seemed like a good idea last night, after a few shots of Jameson... it pretty much screams "look at ME!" -- maybe if you knew everyone else was going to be wearing outfits clamoring for attention... I really like the jacket, but the skirt looks difficult to walk in.

  • More green: Tasty.

  • I think the skirt is cute. I like the princess seams and darts in the jacket. Its design is a little Star-Trekkie, but it's fun.

  • In honor of St. Patrick's Day: Ladies, would YOU wear this suit?

  • You did that in your air fryer?????? yum
  • Love this combo. Really looks sharp.

  • ...and thank YOU for posting some women in suits. I love the red one - flared legs and all. That suit is versatile and would get a lot of wear in my outfits. It's simple and elegant, conservative enough to be used for business meetings, plain enough to be accessorized any number of ways, and easily paired separately with…

  • I’m donating a suit that was grandfather's to Goodwill. I kept it because I thought it did fit me at one point, but really, it never fit WELL - the arms are too long, the shoulders are way wide, and now it needs some spots rewoven due to moth damage. I’m kinda sad to say goodbye; it’s a nice, neutral gray, really well…

  • I keep seeing people posting about their air fryers. I never deep fry stuff because it uses a lot of oil, and it's messy, and then I guess you can re-use the oil in some cases, but eventually you have to dispose of it. And the fryer is such a kitchen speciality item, I think it would be sitting around a lot, which means it…
  • Not just as a snack; they could be breakfast. Have you tried Mock French Toast? I know, it sounds weird, but it tastes quite a lot like French Toast to me. This has been kicking it around the low carb forums since at least 2001. http://www.lowcarb.ca/recipes/rrecipe012.html
  • Oh, that looks totally yum!
  • Oh, I LIKE this... a lot. That's a beautiful combination. Does that shirt have a silky texture? I love the contrast; the nubbly texture of the tie, the print on the handkerchief... makes me want to get a closer look, or even touch the fabrics...

  • That looks soooo good. [I'm just here for the food porn.]
  • I love both these jackets, but I don't like what the mfr pairs with them. They would look really great with a shirt and tie that are less high-contrast, IMO. But the colors are so neutral you could pair them with almost anything. Also, a thinner tie. That tie is too fat, don't you think?

  • This is a meaty read, and I thank you for the link. I'm really enjoying it. I like this "fozzikuma" - who posts working links in his references. :) From what I've read so far, the head guy at Ellipse Analytics looks pretty shady. As to Exec Dir Jackie Bowen - seems to me this type of incest occurs in many industries.…
  • CLP uses Ellipse Analytics. They also state that the baby food study is being peer reviewed. See the blog post, here: http://www.cleanlabelproject.org/debunking-clean-label-project-myths/
  • Thank you for taking the time to find these links. I read both the article and the critique. (The reference links provided when the article was published are now inoperable.) I do not find Mr. Aragon’s argument to be compelling. He points out that Consumer Reports (CR) is not infallible; CR made a mistake in measuring…
  • Check out this young man. Future member of Parliament. What do you think of his ensemble? Seems pretty conservative, but flattering. Love the choice of shoes - compliments both the suit and his hair. My only complaint is the photo makes it look like his right hand is deformed.

  • You got that right. Love it when a man dresses up. They just look so yum. I agree with your philosophy - I much prefer combo #2. You look sharp.

  • Looks pretty fancy... Here's another not so fancy cheesecake you might like to try in future. It's really delish. I've taken it to potlucks and people love it. It doesn't even need a crust, but if you do make an almond flour crust, be sure to blind bake it before adding the filling. Bawdy's Cheesecake…
