I would eat ALL of that!

oh yeah! My kind of meal. :)

Thank you for the detailed response. Do you prefer the texture of sous vide chicken breast as compared to poaching it? My friend raves about how good shrimp and other seafood turn out via sous vide. It's good to know that the set up is so much more compact and I'm guessing less expensive, too, than it was when it first…

That looks great. Did you brine the chicken before cooking it? I don't have a sous vide set up, but a friend of mine raves about it...I'm just reluctant to get any more kitchen gadgets/appliances... I think I must have fifteen different ways to cook chicken with the stuff I already have. :)

Impressive. Steak looks perfect to me!

Glad to see someone besides me who likes anchovies! Those pizzas look tasty. Sorry you have to quarantine, but I understand why.

I'm not vegan, or even vegetarian, but I do like tempeh on occasion. Here's a recipe I came up with: 6 oz tempeh 1.5 Tbs soy sauce 1 tsp hot sauce 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp ground cumin 2 Tbs oil Dice the tempeh into small cubes. In a small bowl, combine other ingredients (except oil) and whisk to combine. Add the…

these are great ideas! You can also use it for shepherd/cottage pie, beef pot pie, open-faced roast beef sandwiches (you can do this with deli-sliced roast beef), freeze it until the next time you fry up some burgers... as you can tell, I'm a big fan of beef.

That looks awesome!

That looks really good! One day. Some day. *Le sigh* I've yet to visit Italy. We will travel again, friend. We WILL!

Um yum YUM!

Truly inspiring! It's art!

so I guess you'll be freezing some of these after smoking, and defrosting as necessary?

I second the idea of having morning soup. It gets/keeps you hydrated in addition to providing you with nourishment. You can poach an egg in your morning soup. I also sometimes eat egg salad or tuna salad for breakfast. Or reheated leftovers from a previous dinner. Or how about a meat or cheese board?

waow. Those look really luxurious. I'm going to have to try this.

It's best to avoid all sweets until you've got a few solid weeks of on-plan eating done. Just sticking to protein, fat, salads and low carb vegetables. Avoid bread substitutes like low carb wraps and tortillas. There are many resources and tips on how to make this diet successful in the Low Carb Daily Forum (a private…

A favorite low carb breakfast of mine is cottage cheese topped with an oz of salted peanuts, with coffee or tea.

This is the method I use. Produces restaurant-worthy results with a lovely crisp skin. https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2017/01/crispy-pan-seared-salmon-fillets-recipe.html

Yes, it's easy to find them on Pinterest. In fact, I have an entire board dedicated to keto & low carb sweet treats. How long have you been doing keto?

http://cavemanfood.blogspot.com/2009/10/pumpkin-sausage-soup.html I've made pumpkin sausage soup before, without cream *or* coconut milk. I think I used some Emeril's seasoning in there, which has a smoky flavor to it, so adding in a bit of smoked paprika is a nice addition to the soup.
