Thanks @weatherking2019 I might just use that can of clams for this... I like clam dip, but I don't think I could finish it up before having to toss it. (small household here) I think I would replace the canned tomatoes with about half the volume of marinara, because you cook tomatoes down to make marinara... Now looking…

I've been making soups, too. I don't want to waste ANY meat, so sometimes they get thrown into soup. I sometimes add beans, stretching what might be 4 servings of beans into 6 servings, but it doesn't really reduce the carbs much because I always start my soups with either Cajun trinity or mirepoix. Still not too bad -- or…

@baconslave I'm curious: how much does it cost where you are? Our local Kroger outfit has whole chickens (Heritage brand) for $0.99/lb, and Foster Farms family pack drumsticks for $1.99/lb. But this grocery is by no means the cheapest in the area...

No, it was not a successful recipe. I followed it exactly, but the damn thing didn't rise AT ALL even though I used fresh baking powder and the right size loaf pan. And the recipe used SEVEN eggs, so I'm pretty annoyed. Now I have to figure out what to do with the remainder of the loaf. I don't know if it'll make good…

April 12: 25 minute walk April 13: 30 minute walk April 17: 120 minutes heavy cleaning April 18: 50 minutes walking and 10 minutes tap dancing April 21 (Today): 45 minute walk. AND I baked a loaf of (coconut flour) bread, too. All before Noon. I will…

Today’s activity: 1:52 minutes walk. I talked with a friend who lives about half a mile away and we decided to meet up at her house. We walked (6’ apart) about the neighborhood for over an hour, then we headed back to our homes. We travelled at her pace, which is slower than mine, due to mobility issues. We kept pausing so…

Yeah, baby. I had some chopped chicken liver as an appetizer for dinner last night. So rich, so good! Best of all: I didn't have to make it myself. This looks fantastic.

6 Apr 2020, Monday Made a half-hearted stab at exercise by walking about the Hollywood District, going to the hardware store and seeing what was open. About 30 minutes. Tuesday: NOPE (hangs head in shame) Today: It's not over yet!

Thanks for the method. One of my favorite restaurant salads is a grilled Caesar that this one place makes. It is so scrumptious. I will have to try this.

Accountability for 5 April: Exercise: 55 minute walk, moderate pace. Went to, around and through the park. Weather was really nice, so there were a decent amount of folks doing the same thing. A trio of friends was watching a 4th try to walk a tightrope (about 3’ off the ground). A couple of people were attempting to play…

Cleaning counts as exercise! It can burn quite a few calories. Practical exercise that uses a lot of different muscles. ;)

3 Apr, Friday: 18 minutes of yoga in the morning, and about an hour‘s walk in the afternoon. I’m using a sticky mat for my yoga, but my hands and feet are sweating and slipping a bit. I have Vibram 10 toes ¿shoes? that I can use, if I want. I don’t know what to do about my hands. I’m not slipping that much. During my walk…

So artistically done! looks wonderful.

Nice work, people! 4/2 check in: 30 minutes heavy cleaning; 10 minutes panicked searching my house room to room (all 3 floors) looking for my phone charger! Yes, I did find it. phew!

I'm in for this challenge. I started increasing my activity on a daily basis about 4 days ago. It's a necessity, really: I've got some circulation issues. My doctor told me it's a genetic thing. My grandmother had varicose veins; I have some spider veins... if I don't get enough movement, if I just sit around like a sloth,…

Good for you on doing the best you can given trying circumstances. Maybe you can order some dehydrated vegetables online? I was very impressed with the quality of the ones I bought at Winco. They only take about 15 minutes to rehydrate when making soup. Great work on the walking!

Now THAT's what I'm talkin' about!

...oops... just ignore this one.

Major props for making your own bread!

Man. I want to eat at YOUR house. And you made cheesecake!

Same problem here.

Yes, I use it occasionally. I also kind of like it. Haven't explored the social aspects there.
