You can get C9 gear at Target for a reasonable price. I wear long sleeve non-cotton shirt, light jacket, running pants, crew length socks, gloves and balaclava, and I'm good down to the teens. Start with week 1. Running is very hard on your body, and you'll appreciate the little break it gives you. It'll seem very easy, which is what you want. Running for two months is a great start, but your body has a lot of adaptations to make. Take it slow and easy.

Do the half. You could definitely finish the full, but it's not about finishing, it's about finishing without tearing yourself apart. It's not there for you.
