Thanks for all the advice so far!! I wish I wasn't a **** cook, haha. I want to eat more protein, but I find the shakes have a lot of cals and I don't eat much meat (for lack of cooking ability). I'll try to eat more yogurt and less processed foods. :)

I did it. It tastes HORRIBLE. It did nothing for me as far as weight loss.

If Zumba is new, it could be water weight too. I personally only log like 30 min if my class is 50 + 10 stretching. To be sure I don't overestimate. I'll be getting an hrm soon so I won't need to anymore. Good luck :)

I too went over my cals yesterday, and woke up this morning hating myself. I would limit myself an extra 100-200 cals a day, but that's just me.

Maybe you can jog a mile and then walk a mile, slowly increase. I find it helps me prepare for long distance if I had at least walked the distance several times before! If I log half a sandwich, I only ate a 1/3 or a 1/4. Sometimes I log a 1/4 if I took a bite if someone else's sandwich. How do I measure half a serving of cereal? 1/4 cup milk? With a measuring cup. Potato? Cut it into eighths.
