Are you weighing and measuring everything you put in your mouth? Are you eating back half your exercise calories? To see if you are eating enough, try www.fitnessfrog.com = TDEE calculator Fill in the form and deduct 500 calories. That will tell you how many calories for a pound a week loss.

I would much rather lose inches than pounds. If it disheartens you so much, I would suggest ditching the scales and just go by clothes and measurements. Well done and good luck.

Keep goals small. Don't think, I need to lose 22lbs, think I need to lose 3 then I need to lose 2 etc etc until you reach your goal. HahahaHahaha your wife sounds like me Op= If do mostly all the cooking but my partner helps me with the cleaning, washing and anything else that needs doing. It was 90 calories because I weighed everything out and used the calories from the packets. Don't forget the apple is cored so a lot of weight is lost and the dried fruit is minimal.

I looked at your diary too, I agree you don't eat enough. As stated in many posts I have seen in the past doctors are not qualified nutritionists. In fact most know Jack about it.

You are using far too much oil. A tbsp for each pancake is a lot and is not needed. I use a 1/2 a tsp per pancake. Personally I think you are over complicating things. Log all the oil you measure and leave it at that.

I have lost 29lb so far. I have recalculated, I am on 1470 calories which is what mfp has set for 1lb loss.
