Hi Both. I am Cheryl from UK. I am 8+3 and due October 7th. I am currently 193.6lb and my goal for this pregnancy is not to put on any unnecessary weight. I have been craving all manner of sweet things and I have very bad so far and been stuffing my face. Hopefully I can curb that. Put on 2.5lb last week :-( So far I have…

The majority of the time, this ^^ However I do have days when proper calorie counting is completely off limits but I do try and estimate it the best I can!! These days include: Once a month when my other half and I get to go out for a meal so I eat what I want without guilt and birthdays, weddings, christenings, christmas…

Hahahahahahaha I love this. Its so true.

I am confused also by your definition of exercise!! Swimming is a great form of exercise. Its great cardio if you actually put some effort in and in some respects resistance too (since water has more resistance than air) . Throw in some aids such as pull buoys (restricts leg movement so the arms control momentum) and kick…

I bake mine in the oven with cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and a splash of garlic oil. Serve with asparagus and broccoli

I haven't made any food changes except portion sizes, I eat in moderation.

^^ I agree, I don't get home from work until 6.15 I eat between 7-8. Not hindered my weight loss.

Agree with all of these. Can I also add the entire cast of Made in Chelsea and TOWIE.

Could you not make too much of something you cook yourself and freeze it for another day?

A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. Good for you for taking a first step.

I travel over to France a lot - my parents live there and its no difference honestly. Supermarkets are numerous and calorie content is on the back of products, the only difference is that the words will probably be in German or French (Depending on where you are staying) but more likely German. Hostels have kitchens so you…

Mine eats healthy at home because he eats what I cook for him and he eats the same as I do. He has a job that means he is out of the house a lot and I know he eats a lot of unhealthy food so when he is home I provide loads of vegetables and salad. But apart from that he is allowed to eat what he chooses to... last night he…

Don't forget that this is an American website. Chips in the US are crisps in the UK. This is why you were asked whether you ate the whole bag. =) In my experience, it's wise to make it known that you are from UK or with certain foods translate it. For example; Crisps (Potato Chips) or Chips (Fries).

Salads are great and versatile. You can put anything into them. Changing the flavour of them just by changing a couple of ingredients. They can be as high or low in calories as you need them to be. BBQ Chicken and Mango works really well together. As does Red Onion, Watermelon and Mint. Experiment.

Unless you have medical issues that mean you need to watch your sugar intake then do not worry about it.

This made me giggle ;)

I think some people just don't like cardio. There is nothing wrong with it, its just personal preference. This possibly has a lot to do with how boring and monotonous it can be. There are so many ways to get in homecare. Trick is to find something that interests you. I love walking in the countryside, I take my camera and…

I second this.

I don't have cheat days because I eat what I fancy anyway but just make it fit into my day. I only have a cheat meal on special occasions and even then I exercise to reduce the damage.

September 2017 I am getting married. I have until this September to lose as much as possible for my fitting.

Thanks all for your answers. I have decided to start to work on my fitness now my eating is under control. I can do 10 minutes at a time before having to take a short break. The benefits I am looking for is to improve fitness. I suppose the short intervals are the best I can do for now and longer will come in time.

My house is full of goodies at the moment. You don't have to cut them out. Just make them fit and by the sounds of it, you can do that at the moment. My advise to you is just consume at least 1200cals on anything until you can go to a supermarket and stock up on more nutritional items. Maybe you should seek the help of a…

I personally can not do it. My body doesn't like it. On the restrictive days, I used to go light headed and fell generally very unwell. I knew that enough was enough when I passed out and hit my head on the floor. Worried my OH to death. That said, I know people who have massive success on it (my mom being one). She…

I agree with the above. Even if it's only for today. Calorie dense foods include avocado, nuts, cheese.

My calorie goal is 1500 and most days I am more or less on the mark. I do have days every now and again when I only reach 800. I am just not hungry as a lot of my day I have eaten fruit and vegetables. Try snacking on calorie dense foods. Nut butters are great (if you don't have an allergy). They can be added to smoothies…

My goal is to get back to the fitness level I was in 2014 before I re-gained my loss. I was able to walk 20+ miles up and down hills without feeling like my chest would implode
