  • My goal is to get back to the fitness level I was in 2014 before I re-gained my loss. I was able to walk 20+ miles up and down hills without feeling like my chest would implode
  • "Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference" "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts" "Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm" "Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential" "The…
  • This is exactly the reason why I don't do Slimming World or Weight Watchers, I don't get the whole free foods thing!!
  • In my "carry around" bag, I have: A foundation, blush, mascara (black), lipstick (In my chosen shade for the day). All bought from Clarins.
  • ^^^ I agree with this. It sounds like you have developed a very unhealthy relationship with food and that could prove to be very destructive for you. You have lost over 100lb, that is amazing and you should be very proud. You are 5lb over goal, its a tiny tiny amount. A bowl of special K, no matter how big, is not going…
  • You will always get moaners wherever you go, whatever you do. Just ignore it. There is a woman at the pool I go to who is constantly bitching and whining about one thing or another. You know the type, the one who struts around like she owns the place, intentionally hits kids who are learning to swim because they are not…
  • The main bulk of my liquid intake is lemon infused water but I also drink diet sodea and it has no affect on my weight loss.
  • I Googled these. The reviews are great.
  • Christmas Day and Boxing Day were my big indulgence days. The rest of the month has been great. Normal service resumed yesterday and I actually found it easier than I expected.
  • The only thing you can do is draw a line under it and start again. Take one day at a time.
  • It's most likely water retention. Just go back to normal and drink plenty of water and it will dissappear.
  • I weighed in on Christmas Day and I won't be stepping on the scales again unto New Years Day. I have no more parties or social events to go to now so I normal service resumes today. Got 5 days to limit the damage that the last 2 days may have caused then start the New Year afresh.
  • I get it every now and again but I just delete without a response and forget about it.
  • Congratulations. I got engaged on mothers day (UK) back in March. We have set a date of 2nd September 2017 and a lot of stuff is already organised. I have lost 21lb so far. My goal is to lose as much as I can by September 2016 as that's when my dress fitting is. Add me as a friend if you like.
  • Does she want to lose weight? or Is this coming from you? Because with all the advise in the world, she isn't going to lose weight if she doesn't want to. That said, my advise is to take baby steps. Get her to sign up on here. Set her calories and concentrate on changing her diet before trying to exercise. Changing too…
  • It's 19:00 here (England) I am over but by how much I won't know until tomorrow. I have written everything down and I will log tomorrow morning. Tomorrow I am at my Aunts for lunch and the in laws for dinner. So it will be the same. I will worry about making a mend on Sunday
  • This December I have been very successful not to get into the trap of eating just because it is Christmas and I have actually lost 3lb so far (my goal is 1lb a week). I have 3 big family social days of the entire month. 1. An early Christmas Dinner with my sister who will be away in Lapland. (This was on the 13th) 2.…
  • You are all amazing. Bookmarking this thread for inspiration.
  • Pretty much the same as what I was going to say :-)
  • I am getting married in our local church. My fiance requested it as it is the place where his nan and grandad and his mom and dad got married. His grandad is buried in the church yard. Its a very beautiful place. We are having the "formal" reception in the garden and its a cream tea (scones, finger sandwiches, tea, pimms…
  • I make my own. I buy the syrups (loving Gingerbread at the moment). Cheaper and not as calorific as a Starbucks/Costa ect. 100ml of Coffee, 200ml of Semi Skimmed Milk plus 20ml Syrup is 234 calories.
  • Roasted broccoli and roasted beetroot compliment each other nicely :-)
  • I don't tend to worry about the numbers anymore. Especially when you consider that not all clothes are created equal. In Asda, I am a 14/16, in Next I am a 16/18 and when I went wedding dress shopping the size 18 sample dress was not even close fitting!! It's not you, it's definitely the manufacturers. Use the number as a…
  • Hi. I weigh everything I consume. Calories add up.
  • I would like to join the January challenge :)
  • I cant afford to keep buying new clothes either. The way I am combating this is to keep my wardrobe to a minimum until I am at my ideal weight and I am only buying cheap clothes. I have 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of jeggings, 1 skirt, maybe 3-4 nice going out tops and maybe 6 casual tops.
