Another only here. I don't think I missed out having siblings, they were always something other people but so what. I do have some reasonably close cousins and if there's ever anything that makes me glad I'm an only its the number of broken bones they gave each other. I tend to get complaints that I am not pushy enough…

The first thing I want to tell you is it won't be so bad after the next session. What I do when I've got really bad leg doms is do a body weight squat. If that doesn't kill me (as in sore is fine, hurting is bad) then I'm fine to go ahead with the session.

No so much a food, but I swear the alleged fruit drinks I used to drink don't taste as good since they took out the E-numbers.
-
I have to give myself something else to do. The number of things I've knitted for people has mysteriously gone up because of this.

I tried the pull-up machine once and my fear of heights got to me. I subbed in more arm work on the other machines instead. It's not a perfect replacement because it doesn't use as many muscle groups but it's as good a suggestion as I've got.

Sorry for minor thread necromancy, but I was shoe shopping today and was deeply disturbed to find I'd lost 1/2 a shoe size somewhere along the line. It made finding shoes that fit a little tricker than expected.

Depends on how much mortal agony/nausea I am in. Obviously, if I'm about to hurl, not so much, but if I feel okay I just carry on.

(Confused face) 100 g for 208 kcal. Sounds low to me.

Salmon and sea bass. I knew about the salmon but not the sea bass.

Late reply but I had the same problem as you and running more slowly really helped. I'm up to 20 minutes straight now without any sign of stitches.

Every second(ish) Tuesday in gym kit before I hit the gym.

I don't like plain water either (with certain exceptions), so I tend to drink a lot of herbal teas instead.

The size length ways hasn't changed but I'm finding that I need to tie my laces a lot tighter.

Roughly the weight of my favourite rugby player, because it means it's doable (he's taller than I am), and doable while being active and eating (because professional rugby players can't starve themselves). Silly but it's working.

I had a tooth removed and the dentist said until it stopped hurting. Basically, walking fine, biking fine, anything that's going to set your heart rate soaring not so good because it slows down healing.

Awesome!

Sounds like a plan. The protein powder I have is allegedly chocolate flavour.

Yes, the number is produced by taking 200 from your GDA, but if you do exercise you have to add that in, otherwise you will not eat enough because your exercise expenditure is not automatically calculated.

I don't know if you're in the UK, but I wouldn't go over 3 minutes for any of major green tea brands in the UK.
-
Just remember not to leave your green teas brewing too long :)

That's my goal weight too, more because it's about the lightest I've ever been as an adult so I know it is achievable.

Pretty much the same as richardositos. I go after work because otherwise it won't get done because mornings and I are not friends.

They sort of do two separate but complementary things. Cardio uses up energy and helps reduce weight that way, while lifting tightens up what's left (I lost ~4 cm from my waist before I even started calorie counting from lifting) and reduces size that way. I do a bit of both.

I adore my Addidas ones but they've changed the sizing recently and I haven't bought one since.

I think it's very much a listen to your body sort of deal. In the months where I'm throwing up or otherwise violently not functioning, I skip the gym. If it's not that bad then I give it a go and just do a light-ish work out.

I'm about 1/2 way through a C25K variant and I'm at about 19 minutes for 1.8 km

Claim designated driver status and say that's why you're not drinking. Or vodka and diet coke, which I think is the least worst option calorie wise.
-
Well done and I hope you're having a fun time skiing.
-
For me the stitches were because I was running at too fast a rate. Slowing down seems to have fixed it.

Bravo!
