Volume measurements (tbsp, cup, etc.) are more approximate due to settling that occurs in the shipping/moving process. Weight Watchers stresses weighing food rather than using measurements. I'd say you're pretty safe to assume the weight was used to calculate the nutritional values, because it is a more accurate and…

This: In the past i've lost 60 lbs in 5-ish months, only to quit in a diet-induced rage and gain it back. this time i've lost 50 in 10 months and don't hate my life. whatever is sustainable for you though!

This will be my first year going. I am already packing - so fricking excited!

amen! i've lost 6 lbs since January 2, and i am very happy with that! i've still been able to eat pizza and ice cream and all kinds of other crap i love. lol

Hide your scale for a month and start taking measurements. It's amazing how you can shrink without that silly number budging.

I am loving Leslie Sansone's walking videos. She does kicks, kneelifts, and other moves that make it more intense than just walking. I have only been doing it for about a week, so I can't really comment on results. All I know is that I actually enjoy doing her video!

love this! luckily the editors were idiots and put previews of the next part of the season with him running through the woods, or i don't know if i could breathe until february!

I am the same way! i buy the big containers of crumbles from costco for my industrial blue cheese needs.

Me neither! I hope they give us a release date soon!

Way to go! Starting around the holidays takes great determination. :)

Eating whatever I want. It's one day! :D

sounds AWESOME, i <3 pumpkin! making these for thanksgiving tomorrow!

Great work so far! Like all the others said, one day won't undo everything. Although it is usually a conscious and planned decision, I have days where I eat whatever I want too - being too restrictive is what killed all of my past weight loss attempts. This time is different. Even if I exceed my calorie goal by 500, 1000,…

I just bought a food scale on Amazon, it came to $7.50 (including shipping!), and I am soooo glad I did! Even things like bread, that give you calories "per slice", come to different weights on the scale, some above the serving size. I discovered that the rye bread I typically buy was actually about 1.25 servings per slice…

Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas will be days off from tracking, using moderation and common sense, but not passing up on tasty once-a-year treats. This has been my approach for all special occasions since I restarted in June, and it's working just fine without any serious derailments!

"human bean" instead of being.

Great start! :)

thanks for all of your input!!! :) looks like Samsung is getting a majority vote. i was looking at the Note II, but Verizon won't have it until the end of the month, and i'm not sure i can wait that long (I have the world's worst phone, Droid X right now). :( i'm thinking with the holidays there might be sales on the SIII…

Cutco/Vector = total shadiness. I had a bad experience with them on the other end of the spectrum - a guy showed up at my house, after dark, asking for me by name (I had no contact with any Cutco representatives, had never given my personal information, etc.), demanding that we had an appointment. When I told him we didn't…

@bzmom gorgeous eyes!

Jules - <3 bullies! I have two!

Agree with these ^^^^^^ . Having this moderation mindset about "cheating" has really helped me get back on the wagon where I would have let "bad days" snowball in the past.

i'd rather just make jerky

Joan Holloway (Christina Hendrix) from Mad Men. I did it a couple years ago, and most people just thought I was a 60s secretary, but it was cute anyways!
