  • I haven't even tried! LOL, Im not a big drinker but I definetly need a beer or a glass of wine once in a while! I usually drink light beer anyway!
  • I put all natural peanut butter in mine! 1 or 2 tablespoons. I love it, and it makes it like 25 grams of protein, which is awesome! Sometimes I will add some stevia for sweetness and maybe a little pumpkin pie spice!
  • Unbelievable! Congrats to you! You look awesome!
  • I agree with this. There are people who are committed but may not log everyday, then there are the people who are logging taco bell and cupcakes everyday and complaining about not losing weight.
  • wow, I bet you would be a tough boss! Vacations? Computer issues? Sickness? Needs a break? I took a break from my fitness pal for 6 months, and came back in the new year. I was glad to still have my friends. I didn't fall off the wagon, just didn't quite need as much support for a while.
  • I always add spinach to my smoothies! Mine are usually a banana, spinach, ground flax, some type of berry, plain oats and almond milk. sometimes I will add some type of nut butter or greek yogurt.
  • Welcome! I love this site!
  • I eat multi-grain pita chips. I like the salty crunchy stuff also, Ill take that over candy any day! But I think the suggestion about the individual bags of baked chips is a good idea. They sell different 100 calorie snack packs also!
  • She can only sabotage you if you allow her to. Stick to your goals, and maybe she will catch on. If you lose her as a friend because of this, then she wasn't much of a friend anyway. True friends are supportive.
  • HI Mchelle, I sent you a friend request! This is a great site for motivation and support and also for food ideas! I have gotten so many tips from my MFP's! Plus tracking your food in your food diary really helps you see where your biggest problems are. One of my suggestions for always having healthy food is PREPARATION!…
  • **that should have said 450-500 calories
  • I have a polar HRM that I was always pretty happy with. I stopped using it once I stopped religiously counting my calories. For Christmas my husband got me a Fitbit Zip, and I have been using that for the past week. I am not sure what to think. I feel like my HRM showed a higher calorie burn than the Fitbit.I dont usually…
  • The best fat burner is muscle. Your body and hard work is all you need. There is no quick fix, or magic pill or supplement...The people who benefit from those "quick fix fat loss" are the ones who sell them and end up with our money.
  • I use a Brita...I have for years and I LOVE it!
  • this particular email message may be a hoax, but the message it sends is not. It doesnt hurt to be aware and to be cautious,.and look out for your own well-being. There was just an article about a man impersonating police in an unmarked car, happening within the last few months, i believe in South Carolina. etc. Bottom…
  • I was a B also, lost almost 20 lbs and now I am pretty much an A. I thought it would upset me, but let me tell you, I feel so good about myself for being back to my pre-kids weight, I do not even miss them, and you probably wont either! Congrats on the 15lbs down though!
  • Love your story. Congrats! Changing your habits is truly the best way....best of luck for your ongoing success!
  • Stick with it! I know its hard...and it can be discouraging seeing others success when you ar struggling. What do you feel like is holding you back from giving it your all? Are you setting your expectations to high?
  • Elliptical was always one of my faves, but I gave it up for running (which I am not a HUGE fan of either....but I burn the most cals that way...and I'm learning to enjoy it) or else if you have access to a treadmill, try a fast walk at an incline. I would do 3.8 miles per hour at a 14 or 15 incline (which is as high as the…
  • They make something called soy nut butter (http://www.soynutbutter.com/) In my grocery store its sold near the peanut butter. They might let him take that to school, since its peanut free and allergy safe. Its pretty close in taste and consistency to peanut butter.
  • I know you said you dont want it, but I'm going to say it anyway...I hope that doesnt offend you! Why are you unwilling to get another pet? It sounds like you are a pet lover (maybe i'm wrong) and animals can be very therapeutic. It does not have to be about replacing Mayer, because obviously you can not do that. But it…
  • I say yes! The only way I survive this healthy lifestyle is by allowing myself a treat sometimes. It has to be give and take. Have th treat tonight, workout a bit harder tomorrow.
  • Definitely up your calories. Try it out and give yourself atleast a couple weeks of eating more and see what happens. Drink plenty of water, eat as clean as possible...and you will lose. Eating less is only going to put you into starvation mode, causing your body to hold on to what you give it.
  • OMG! Totally sounds like something that would happen to me! But seriously, I'm more curious about the stuff in the attic! That crazy! maybe there is something good in it like a hidden box of money!!! If you find that, its mine, I must have forgetten i put it there!
  • Good luck!

  • why? If you think its motivation then go for it....
  • Cardio cardio cardio and lots of ab exercises. Did it for me! Good luck!
  • I feel your pain! Unfortunatly there is no quick answer! The change has to come from inside you. I can give you tips,(ex- avoid eating out, bring your own food to get togethers, etc...) but those things are all way easier said than done. You need to find a way to limit yourself and conquer that yourself....sorry, I dont…
  • I agree with telling him how you feel....to be honest in all my experience with men....sometimes they just dont get when they are being insensitive to your feelings. I'm not in anyway putting men down, so dont everyone jump all over this. I truly think they are just programmed differently than women, and dont get that…
