All the options you mentioned are good but I would recommend you start with looking at videos. Many are free and here are few links https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ugu9XF3p-oI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naJtNxEuBqw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1PkDewTrrE. Love it - except I have this song stuck in my head now

My fitbit reset itself and my old friends have vanished (hope they didn't take it personally :D ). Need new friends now www.fitbit.com/user/2SXTP8

Great job - I am at your current weight, in my 50s and also trying to get to 150. Race you to the finish

You look fantastic and love the wonder women outfit (you earned it!).
-
Great transformation - and love the hair.

Just finished a session and was feeling kind of down until I read your post. Not because it wasn't fun and hard work but because I wasn't graceful like the ninja warriors on TV. Thank you for reminding me that I am at the gym to "change my life and create health and happiness". No one but me cares about my red face and…

Great job - not just the weight loss but the also the great sense of style.
-
Wow - that is an incredible transformation in only two months.
-
Great transformation.
-
Great work - I have the same start and goal weight and hopefully, I will be joining you soon.

I have about 137 grams per day. My intake used to be a bit higher but I have been concentrating on increasing protein intake, while still consuming a healthy amount of fat. My mix is 37%C, 31%F and 32%P. I found increasing protein was the key to satiety, but that is just me.

Very impressed - thanks for the detail on how your health indicators improved. They really point out this isn't just about vanity (not that isn't a valid motivator!).
-
You look great - I can't even imagine juggling twin babies, losing weight and working out like a beast. Good on you!

Great transformation.

Hi, I am 54 and agree that it is more difficult to stay slim and in shape over 50. The hormonal changes don't help! If you aren't already doing so, I highly recommend you add weight training. It really does help with metabolism and muscle tone loss and is the best anti-ager out there. Not that I'm giving up my facials…

Your workouts are really paying off.
-
Great job - so what worked for you?
-
Well, you can always eat the wide variety of healthy, low to moderate calorie carbs (like berries, veg, quinoa, yogurt etc.), skip chips and sweets, and keep your anger in check. Of course, exercise is a good choice either way!

Amazing job - I tried all the big corporate diet plans too and found MFP, with the logging and encouragement from MFP friends the most helpful.

Congrats, I totally get the excitement of getting into clothes that have been sitting in your closet, mocking you. When I got back into a favourite dress I actually broke out in this 80s tune by Peaches & Herb :D Reunited, and it feels so good Reunited 'cause we understood There's one perfect fit And, sugar, this one is it…

Missing the gym for 2 to 3 days with everything else the same isn't going to result in a 4 lb weight gain over the same timeframe. Say you normally do 500 calorie burn work outs each time, this is only a 1500 calorie difference which doesn't even translate to one pound. If you ate 3500 extra calories to gain the weight…

Great job.

Impressed with your weight loss and lifestyle change and most of all, your commitment to giving back.
-
You look amazing - great job.
-
Great achievement. Congrats.

Wow - fantastic job. Great to see another Leafs fan on here (this is going to be our year!).

I don't log housekeeping but I also log my workouts so I can look back and see if I'm meeting by fitness goals. I used to, but no longer, adjust my daily calories up based on calories burned during work outs. Washing the dishes or doing laundry isn't going to increase my lung capacity for hiking or improve my body…

Thank you for providing this level of detail about your journey. "The idea of losing weight while not feeling hungry was really revolutionary" particularly resonated with me. You look lovely - all the best as you move forward and I hope you share your wisdom with us again.

Great post - time to take the pretty dress to the tailor!
