" I'm doing what is best for myself and my family. " Keep it simple. Just because someone asks a question doesn't mean you have to answer. Or tell them the information is classified and if you tell them, you have to kill them.

Grocery shopping and a toddler birthday party are definitely not fascinating. Nor is accounting homework as evidenced by me almost falling asleep reading for it. I'd rather be perusing the forums, but that gosh dang laundry is dry and won't told itself yet.

Yay for friends with similar goals! I was actively tracking and losing right before I got pregnant. I gained 54 pounds and lost about 30 of it right off the bat (thank you huge child and other baby related things). Since then, I've been pretty stuck in the 170s. He's 2 now so I don't have an excuse anymore. I wish I had…

Overall, 33.9 is the plan, but I'll adjust accordingly once I get around there depending on how I feel. I'm at 173.9 and am working towards 140. I break everything down into 5 pound increments and celebrate each time I get into a new 5 pound range with a treat for myself. Once I get under 170, I get to register for a 5k. :)

I would back out and go with something more realistic. 4 pounds per week is too much. If you like the idea of money as a motivator, look into DietBet. I'm in a 6 month one that has a goal of 10% which for me is less than 20 pounds and totally doable.
