  • Thank you so much for sharing, and Congrates on your awsome weight loss.
  • First of all i am so sorry that your family is so judgmental, but try not to listen to them, I know easier said than done. Second: Make today the 1st day of your weight loss, put the past right where it belongs in the past. Everyone as setbacks, the key is to move forward and not to beat yourself up over it. You have this…
  • First of all: CONGRATULATIONS on joining the survivors club. I am a two (2) time cancer survivor myself. Trust me the weight does come off, your hair does grow back, your energy levels do increase. It took me time but the weight came off, honestly, however I put it back on too, and now attempting to take it off again, but…
  • The past is the past, you fell off the wagon and gained weight, big deal... Put all that behind you and say today is a new day, today is the first day of me getting into shape. Pick yourself up, and work-out in any way. Doesn't have to be at a gym, buy hand weights and start at home, walk before/after work. Just get up and…
  • Not sure it is fun per-say, But it definitly helps pass the time. When i am doing my morning work-out (prior to work) I watch T.V. and when I do my afternoon work-outs (on my break and on lunch hour) I have a friend I work-out with.
  • I heard these both on a different post some time ago, and have them on my computer at work: "Pain is weakness leaving your body" "You don't knned motivation, you just need to get off your *kitten* and GO!"
  • I can definitely relate, I too go through spells of zero motivation. What works for me is I have a friend that I do a “stair” routine with every morning and then at lunch time we either walk or jog. Getting an exercise buddy might work, it sure does help me. Also when you feel hungry try to drink cold water first, that…
  • I am 5'1" and currently 135 and want to get between 115 and 120. I too have been stuck at 135 for what feels like a life time. I just recently changed up my work-out routine to hopefully start losing again. Add me as a friend i will help you and you can help me
  • Hi Sharon, the breaking out in hives recently happened to my 25 year old daughter. It turns out she developed a Wheat Allergy, after much nagging on my part, she went to a dermatologist and he gave her a cream to put on the hives when she gets them. Feel free to add me as a friend. And good luck to you
  • Not sure if you have them where you live, but Farmer's Markets are great. The food is fresh, and very cheap, you can get your fruits and Veggies, and some even have meat. If you don't have a Farmer's Market, the Price Clubs are good also :) Good luck to you.
  • This is what I do.... Higher with food, lower with exercise.
  • 8:30/9:00 - Breakfast 12:30/1:00 - Lunch 3:30 - Snack (this is when i start to crave chocolate) 6:00 - Dinner Like cjacobs81 this is at work during the week on the weekends it is totally different. All depends where we are and what is going on.
  • ElliottTN: thank you - so what i should be doing in exhaling quickly correct? I will do that on my run tomorrow
  • YKS.. Why? I've been doing this for a few months now. Should i stop? Is it causing damage?
  • Not sure how true this is, but I was told to breathe in as long and hard as you can, like till your lungs hurt, then slowly exhale. It seems to help me out. Good luck.
  • This... It is not hard a calorie deficit will make you lose weight. This is not a quick fix,but is is a life style change.
  • Don't let this upset you, just put it behind you and keep logging the rest of your day. You can exercise a little more today if that is possible. I personally would not eat less tomorrow, but then I love food so I couldn’t even if I wanted to.

  • My husband loves to share food too when we go to games or any event. What I do is take tiny bits this way he doesn't feel bad and i don't overeat my calories. Beer is alright too, just have 1 or 2 and drink slow. Don't let this slip get you down, just pull yourself up, dust yourself off and attempt to do better next time…
  • OP did you go to HR? What did they say?
  • You need to go to HR NOW, put a complaint on your boss and co-worker. Your boss for calling you a liar, and reprimanding you for doing something you didn't do when you were not on the clock. And on your co-worker for spreading rumors about you throughout your company. Better you do it first before they do it to you and you…
  • I didn't get fat overnight, I won't get skinny (I prefer healthy) overnight. That is so true for all of us.. We just have to do this slow and steady and we WILL win
  • For me what works is I eat whatever I want whenever I want, I don’t pay attention to “you can’t eat after this time of day” I try to stay to my 1200 calories a day, and most days I do, and when I don’t I don’t beat myself up, I just simply try to do better the next day. I do however exercise, not much, but the little I do…
  • Your are too funny, you made me laugh out loud at my desk all by my self  Hay it was one day don't beat yourself up over it, **** happens tomorrow will be a better day.:drinker:
  • Girl you look amazing, I am so happy you decided to share your during pictures as they inspired me to keep with it  thank you and CONGRATES you look AWESOME.
  • I wake up 1 hour early, do the treadmill, jog/walk for 1/2 hour, then i use my hands weights and do sit-ups for the remaining 1/2 hours. Once at work, on our break of course, a co-worker and I run up the stairs and then on our lunch hour a few of us either go for a jog or fast pace walk depending on the weather. You can do…
  • I want to lose 20 to 30 pounds but have no set time frame, i know it is not your 50 pounds or more, but... I will cheer you on and give support, as i hope you will for me. Feel free to add me.
  • When it took effort to tie my shoes and I ran out to breath walking up the stairs - i said enough is enough and started to watch what i eat.
  • Since you really don't like eggs, yogurt is good with fruit., or no law saying it has to be so called breakfast food. Make a wrap with turkey or ham. I bring turkey beacon on rye toast with a little ketcup just so it is not so dry.
  • Just for Today... I will not eat that candy and I will make sure i workout :) BTW Excellent Post thank you for sharing it :drinker:
  • GMReich7 - Love the cost - thank you so much
