That's awesome! I was almost ready to design one myself and replace "Cutler" with "Cousins!"

I get the same thing when I reveal that I'm 56. They're like, what? You can't do that. You're 56. Just remember we're the ones who are getting the last laugh. Rock on!

Not only did I date one I married him and he's the love of my life.

<I took this picture today. I'm 5'2" tall and today I weighed 130. I can eat 1600 calories a day and still lose at age 56. As for goal weight, as you can see there are many different body types for someone the same height. I tend to be a little muscular and I'm a runner. It's not a one size fits all thing. If you've been…

Almost every morning I mix 2 tablespoons of PB2 chocolate in 1 cup of milk, with 1/2 cup Chiobani plain fat free greek yogurt and have it for breakfast. It also makes a great snack if you get hungry during the day. 211calories, 23g carbs, 4g fat, 24 protein, 5g sugar, 53g sodium. I don't like yogurt, but I like it's…

This may help you even though you've run on the treadmill. When I began running I concentrated on increasing the time I was able to run. The speed just naturally increased along the way. http://m.runnersworld.com/getting-started/the-worlds-simplest-learn-to-run-program?cid=socBeg_20140926_32349926

I love it!

Why was I with my ex in the first place? Stupidity.

I wouldn't say an avocado is more real, but it's healthier. Avocados may have roughly the same amount of fat as ice cream, but it's good fat, monounsaturated fat. The carbs in ice cream come from processed sugar.

I ate ice cream almost every day for dessert, not a meal replacement, and lost 50 pounds. I still eat it for dessert almost every day.

My legs became more shapely after I started running. I couldn't believe how they changed, and I didn't start running until I was 53.

Yes this thread is 2 years old, but I finally got to your question. What I noticed was how you compared your efforts to those of The Biggest Loser and Extreme Weight Loss. Understand that those people work out at least 8 hours a day--hard. You can't expect, nor would you want to lose weight that fast.

Oh and this one..... Picture of Jesus fish with "and chips" underneath it.

I'VE BEEN SO MISERABLE SINCE YOU LEFT IT'S ALMOST LIKE HAVING YOU HERE!

Congratulations! You have discovered that you can do something you didn't think you could. It's a great feeling, isn't it? And your BF? He sounds like a keeper.

....and I ate back roughly half of my exercise calories.

I lost 40 pounds in 4 months spinning 3 or 4 times a week.

You have been given a great gift. To finally see yourself as everyone else already sees you! Congratulations!

Surprise yourself. Just go do it.

I hated running my entire life. When I was 53 I hopped on a treadmill one day and it has been a love affair ever since. I don't love all running though. I hate the treadmill, but I love to run intervals on it. I especially love to run outdoors. From what you describe it sounds like it's the ENVIRONMENT you hate, not…

Hell no! I'll be 56 next week and feel more hot than I've ever been before in my life!
-
I hated running too. Due to a crazy fluke I got on a treadmill one day at the ripe old age of 53 and I've been running ever since. At first I did it to lose weight and get fit, but now I do it because I love it! Not only that, I now have the cardio fitness of people half my age. Yay running!

Most likely the tired feeling is coming from the things you're eating now. You MUST stop the cycle. Promise yourself you'll eat healthy for one day and do it. Don't fast. Just eat reasonably. Then go from there.

I guess that's why they're called "STRANGErs. " This one was strange. He has the problem, not you.

That's like saying if you drive by a McDonald's it's their fault they are tempting you with hamburgers and fries. Temptation surrounds us. How we respond is totally up to us.
