You are what you think you are.

You probably can eat quite a bit more and lose. I'm 5'1" and at 130 pounds was losing a half pound a week eating 1550. At your weight, I'd say 1200 is way not enough, even without exercise.

Amazing changes and amazing progress. Know what I like best about all your pictures, though? You are ALWAYS smiling! No wonder you're such a success!

Nothing is impossible. Start training and do a 5K race first. Then supplement your running with swimming and cycling. I believe you can and should do this. One thing I've learned is there are no limits.

6.5 pounds is a great loss. The battle of the mind is the hardest thing about weight loss. Be conscious of your thoughts and try to change them. It always seems like it's taking forever to lose weight at the time you're doing it, but after you lose it and look back on it, it's really not that long at all. Yes, you've got a…

Maybe it's your attitude. Going to the gym is something you hate? I know if I hated something I wouldn't be going balls to the wall while I was doing it. Are you just going there, plodding along, going through the motions just to get it done? Having a pity party and whining why, why, why, doesn't get you any thinner or…

Friday morning. If i have a tendency to eat more on the weekend I have the following week to make up for it.

You should probably work out your marital problems first.

From fatass to badass.

It's hard to see exactly why you're having this problem without knowing your weight. First you need to determine how many calories you should be eating. This is the calculator I use and it has always worked for me. http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/ Then you need to be sure you measure and weigh your…

My butt is big too. Like some of the others said, not necessarily a bad thing. You can make it firmer. It just takes a lot of time. Keep working at it and it will transform. Lunges, squats, repeat. Look at my profile pic. Still on the big side, but I swear my butt defies gravity now!

I retired a couple of weeks ago and found that I have the time to train daily now. I quickly realized that I needed to start eating back all my exercise calories to maintain my goal weight. I now eat 1900-2400 depending on my workouts. It felt strange to eat that much, but I feel awesome and haven't gained a pound.

I'm a bigger bottomed gal myself. I might not be able to solve how your pants fit, but there is a cute, practical way to camouflage it. http://sweetspotskirts.com/pages/the-skirt They can be worn over any pants, capris, or shorts that you already have. Very versatile. The same skirt will fit sizes 2-14 using an ingenious…

Try quick adding 1,000,000,000 calories and see what it comes up with. Hilarious.

And it only took you a year. That amazing! Congratulations on your reinvention!

55 and have been at my goal since the first of June. Fit after 50 is an awesome thing!

I would just go with my original goal and blow it out of the water.

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/RUNNING_AMOK_1958 I try to lift a couple of times a week. Not just 'ladyweights' Real lifting. At the squat rack.

I totally disagree that gait analysis is useless. When I started running I had no idea what kind of damage the wrong shoes could do until I had a traumatic injury because of them. I had to walk with a cane for many weeks and have months of rehab. Once I was ready to run again I went to the running store and had gait…
