Thank you for taking the time to share this! Very informative and just plain common sense. She's the expert and I believe what she says. Pay no attention to all the crackpots coming out of the MFP woodwork to dispute what she told you and 'prove her wrong!'

I do it all the time. That way I can make adjustments throughout the day if necessary. No surprises!

Honey, just go ahead and do it on your own with or without your husband's support. I know it's harder without the support, but you can do it. It will be a rough road, but focus on YOUR goal and let the rest roll off your back. Try to find support from a friend, a clergyman if you have one, or some sort of support group.…

Actually the burger is probably a better choice since it's not deep fried. You could always skip one or both buns.

Only if I work up a sweat doing it....which I never do.

Considering your screen name how about eBay? I wore leggings while losing. They aren't as expensive as jeans and will last through several pounds.

Yep. Chips are my weakness. One thing I see you doing is you're trying to 'eat clean' to perfection. Remember that everything is okay in moderation. If you can't eat cookies in moderation, don't eat them. I can't eat nacho cheese Doritos in moderation, so I just don't eat them. They're like heroin to a drug addict for me.…

I read your other posts. I'll be willing to bet your root cause is your parents!

Roasted butternut squash. Cube it. Season it (garlic, thyme, whatever you like). Toss with a little olive oil. Bake at 425 for 30 minutes. 78 calories per one cup serving.

Nacho cheese doritos. I love all kinds of chips and doritos were one of my favorites. But not nacho cheese. I liked the sweet chili flavor better. One day I bought nacho cheese and I was hooked. Couldn't stop eating them. Whatever size I bought, that's how many I ate. Even giant Costco size bags. I had never been addicted…

Just think of it this way---this is the last time you'll be this weight!

Wish I would have seen this when I started running. Beautiful! Thank you for posting it!

Your profile says your boyfriend is a personal trainer, so why are you asking us amateurs for workout advice?

How about stairs? Lots of stairs. Builds up my glutes and good cardiovascular at the same time.

I disagree with the above poster. I never drank water until I had a long plateau. I was told by a dietician that it was one of the reasons I wasn't losing. I don't know if drinking more water will help you lose, but I find I lose more weight when I drink more water. Not only that, but water is essential to keeping your…

Runnersworld.com and livestrong.com are great websites to explore when you have an injury.

One thing I noticed is your water intake. Are you drinking more water than what you log? Eight glasses should be the minimum. Half an ounce for every pound is what a trainer recommended for me. You are doing great and it's probably a fluke. Next week you'll probably forget all about it when you post a 10 pound loss!

Hi! I'm also a runner. I'm not putting in the kind of mileage that you are at the moment, and I run mainly for the joy of running itself. I'm trying to lose a few pounds also and was eating at the MFP recommended 1200 per day plus eating back around half of my exercise calories. I felt weak and cranky, like I wasn't eating…

Three pounds is a great loss! Took a peek at your food diary and it looks great. Sounds like you mix things up in your workouts too. Sometimes it seems like time is moving slowly, but keep doing what you're doing and the weight should keep coming off. You're doing great!

I don't know about the science behind this, but I usually do two long and one short workout every week with days off in between. I've had great results, maybe that's why.
