Run! I always said I wasn't built for running. Even as a kid I struggled. After hitting my goal weight I started couch 2 5k last Autumn and now run 5 to 10k three times a week as well as playing netball once a week

I am very happy to support a couple of people starting out on their MFP journey. I'm vegetarian and live on the south coast of England. I've been using MFP daily for just over a year and during that time I've lost a little over 1/3rd of my start weight. I reached my goal in November and am maintaining. I focus on diet,…

At 40 I was disappointed with my figure and decided to do something about it. I'm now 41 and 7lbs away from my goal. Happy to provide support to anyone who needs it :)

hi, I'm glad I'm not alone. Sadly I don't have the answer but I'm interested to hear any tips. I joined MFP with my partner on 1st January this year. We've supported each other throughout and he hit his goal of dropping 5 1/2 stone last week. I've lost over 4 stone with 11lbs to go. Haven't felt this good in a long time :)

The NHS BMI calculator will let you easily work out your ideal BMI and weight range. Do remember that it is a range, we are all different builds, so be realistic in any target you set. Good luck. Dx http://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Healthyweightcalculator.aspx

Hi I'm Dawn and turned 41 last month. I live in Hampshire and Joined MFP with my partner Adrian on 1st January as we were both feeling uncomfortable with the weight that had crept on. Adrian hit his 5 stone weight loss target at the weekend. I need a bit of a push to get my last stone off now :) Dx

Hi Nicole, I started using this site on 1st Jan and one of the things that has helped me is group support and encouragement. I've had a few weeks where my weightless stalled, and in the past I would have given up. This time is different as friends have encouraged my to continue. Very happy to support you x
