  • It's an awful feeling, especially when it's posted publicly by someone else on facebook - there are a lot of me on there that I'd rather have taken down but feel too awkward to ask and need to explain why! But it was definitely part of the reason that I've started making healthy changes now though.

  • That is a fantastic idea! I've read about things similar such as marbles in jars, which I've never felt would work for me, but to have objects that physically weigh the same as the amount of loss sounds so motivating. I wish I had the living space to do the same.

  • Hi there, I'm Lotti, I'm aiming to lose about 50 pounds. No definite date for that, as long as I keep losing slowly and surely and end up somewhere that I can sustain the weight in the long term I don't mind how long it takes.
  • Hi there, I've just joined this group. I'm a fellow resistance player! I'm lucky that my town has quite a lot of portals so it means some good motivation to get out walking - it seems such a waste of petrol to drive around it when there are so many close together.
