Looking for workout accountability

Hi, I'm new here and looking for friends. I need accountability to MOVE on a regular basis. I use an UP band to keep track of my steps each day and rarely make it to active. I'd love some friends who want to check in daily on exercise goals.

Hey im 22 years old. I have been with my husband 5 years, married 2. He is in the Army National Guard. I work in a maximum Security Correctional Center (prison). We have a 4 year old daughter, a grey and white cat, a pomeranian and a dalmatian. I am working to lose weight and gain muscle. I currently weigh over 200 pounds but that shall change!!! I will (as often as i can) post support on your statuses. These are my goals this month:
    1. Drink 8 glasses of water a day (64 oz)
    2. Ride my stationary bike 20 minutes a day.
    3. Log my diary in every day

I am thinking in February I will do the 30 day shred.(maybe since i live in a trailor and the entire thing shakes when i try and do jumping jacks) if not i will find a different fitness program.

IN March and April I think i will be doing the C25K program. If it isnt warmed up by then i will do it in April and May.

I am hoping at somepoint this year to become pregnant.

Anyway!! Feel free to add me anyone!!

Hi there, I start each day with the best of intentions and plans then my motivation shrivels as the day goes on so an accountability partner would be great :)

Ill say this...it is tough at first to stay motivated...until you start seeing the changes...but if you keep at it there is a tipping point where you cant wait to be active.

    So stay at it!!

This is so true. I have heard this before and have it on my wall at home:
“It Takes 4 Weeks for You to Notice Your Body Changing, 8 Weeks for Your Friends to Notice, And 12 Weeks for The Rest of The World to Notice. Give It 12 Weeks. Don’t QUIT!” –Unknown
  • You can add me-I workout a lot- and when you start seeing a feeling the change then it makes you want to-my friends and family noticed the change before I did-so if you need a friend count me in:)

Hello & Welcome! You have to set your mind to it. I took a short break because of the holiday & went to the gym last night & my legs are feeling it. So I'm back at it, my rest days are Fri & Wed, but I do something everyday even if it's just taking the dogs for a walk. You can add me if you want. Good luck to ya! :flowerforyou:
  • Hey there! So I've lost weight before with help from a dietician but I found it hard to maintain the weight loss, especially at university were meals are mostly decided for me (living in res). I'm hoping this site can help me be more accountable at school and life in the long run. I'm especially hoping to find a way to incorporate my new pescatarian diet :) So yeah, add me :)

Hello, feel free to add me. I log and exercise each day, and am happy to help with accountability. My diary is open, and I keep good notes on workouts and food. I agree with handyrunner, there is a tipping point... once you find it, you'll be UP all day! I use a Fitbit and I love watching the numbers go up all day.
