We eat pizza at least once a week and I have still managed to drop the weight. Remember, this is a lifestyle change, not diet. And pizza, for some of us, is a staple. Like other posters have said, get some veggies on there. I love the Papa Murphy Delites! I usually get one of the grilled chicken varieties.

It will go away. You body was just used to having things. Keep flushing it with that water, and they will be gone in a couple days :-D

Mix nuts and a cheese stick fresh veggies apple with peanut butter

I find that doing this also helps me with pain. If I'm in a lot of pain or have a terrible headache, I do my best to find something to focus me, the pain doesn't go away, but I stop thinking about it. Thought I would throw that out there to all you wonderful people!

Welcome! The 10 year reunion is one of my "secret" ;-) motivators as well. Good luck on your journey! If you need any friendly support, add me as a friend! Have a great day!

Perhaps it is the mixture of the sodium with the healthy fats? Not quite sure. I got the information from http://healthmad.com/nutrition/11-health-benefits-of-avocado/
-
I added mine to a grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoes and turkey, sprinkled with pepper (thought the avocado was plenty salty) and it was very tasty!

Awesome! Feels great to accomplish so much :-)

I have read that a lot of people only use the sugar tracker for the processed sugars, not the good sugars from vegetables and fruits. So I think you may be okay if that is your sources. I stopped tracking mine for that reason. Hope this helps!

Great job and what a motivator to keep going!

Thanks! My sister is a ranch fiend! (I also love it on fries) Just not a big salt fan, so thanks for getting back to me :-)
-
Does it have to be garlic salt or would garlic powder/minced garlic work as well? (Not sure if the salt is just a necessity, or a preference)

WooHoo! Great Job. :-)

Deepest sympathies and prayers for your friend. I cannot even fathom the pain she must be experiencing right now.

I am so sorry for the tragic loss. I can't even imagine. No real advice, sorry, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Have a safe journey.

Bump, I want to try :-)

I wish I could help more, but the law varies by state. I would suggest calling up an attorney and asking what the rights are in your state. They would know best and help you along in your journey. Good Luck!

Get the Venetian Apricot Chicken, Salad (no dressing or on the side) and limit the bread sticks! One bread stick is 150 cals. Enjoy lunch!

I have learned that I was starving myself and by eating more I actually lose and weigh less.

Try adding some fruit to the salad. Like some oranges or grapes. Give you a nice crunch, sweetness, and some needed fruit. :-) Or maybe even some nuts, almonds, walnuts, etc.

I recommend only weighing yourself one day a week, the same day, same time. Body fluctuates during the week. Could be that you had a lot of sodium this weekend and so you are actually seeing water weight. Drink plenty of water, make sure you are eating, and realize that the body has to adjust to all the things you are…

Not Jewish, but love matzah :-) Maybe it is what I had on it. Some horseradish meat mixture (the name completely escapes me at the moment) Remember Passover is a time of celebration! So, cardboard for a week isn't too bad. I hope you will throw in some lamb for your protein :-)

I don't run with an ipod (don't have one) But my guess would be when you are listening to music, your body auto adapts to the the rhythm and you pace yourself with the beat. I sing to myself when I am running, kind of like a military type chant sometimes, and it helps to keep me in pace with where my heart rate should be.…

When I make grilled cheese sandwiches, I generally add peanut butter. I have changed up my grilled cheese by using 1/3 less fat cream cheese, a better for me peanut butter, and pam on the pan instead of butter on the bread (whole wheat of course...love the 45 cal bread!). Melty peanut butter is the best. Mix it with yummy…

We do have roundabouts, but I don't think nearly as many.

Do you have a grill or a forman? I take 1/4 cup of honey and 2 tbls spoons of balsamic vinegar, about 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast (I cut them so they are about 4 ounce "patties") Mix the honey and vinegar together, dip the chicken in the mixture, or let it marinate for awhile. Throw on the grill. This…

WooHoo! Keep it up!
