Yeah, this is what it feels like! I am going to try some of these ideas, thank you :flowerforyou:

Ugh, really! Don't want them now.

Yeah, I know It is not the same like other kinds of addiction, which is why I also put the word obsession there. I am sorry if I offended anyone. I wish I could have selfcontrol like that. Way to go!! I think cold turkey, at least for a while might be my best option. Thanks for all your support guys!

Hehe, yep, fully aware that this is very unhealthy and makes me a weirdo :P Those are my greatest motivation! Thanks for your support!

Yeah, I guess like most of you said, it will have to come down to willpower... I never keep them around the house or my job. If I don't finish a bag I will actually throw it out first thing, because I cannot keep myself from eating it if it's in the house. But I will go to the store and get them whenever the craving hits.…

Haha, I love this! This might be my new way of thining. Maggots and bugs and rats and yuckie things all over those crisps. Nope.

Bump! Sounds delish!!

Hey! I follow your instagram, so much yum!! ::smile: I am vegetarian, former vegan, trying to eat more and more vegan, but a bit of dairy sneaks it's way in every ones in a while... Good luck and welcome to MFP!

You should look into raw food cakes if you have a food processor. Raw carrot cake is to die for! Another favourit of mine is avocado chocolate mousse, super yummie! Things like pies and crumbles are easy to make vegan. Most baked goods can be veganised, do a google search and you'll find loads! Good luck!

Wow, Nice work! You look great!!
-
Wow, you look awesome! Way to go and good luck with the bulking! :)

I love potatoes! I love potatoe gratin! Here is a recipe I quickly googled, similar to how I usually do ut. Not so low in calories but very yummie. You can exchange some of the cream for milk for a slightly healthier recipe! This is a typical swedish gratin, but maybe it's the same all over the world. For christmas we…

Did you check the happy herbivores group? Lots of vegans there! I'm vegetarian, if you like you can add me.

Wow, this looks so ymmie!

I love to make homemade pesto with arugula instead of basil. Use it with pasta, tomatoes and mozzarella, as a salad dressing, to make potato salad. Super good!!

Social worker from Sweden here! :) I know exactly what you mean, putting all your efforts into your clients and forgetting about yourself is a very easy thing to do. I'm sure you do great work! Just remember that if you don't feel well it will make it that much harder to help others, so try and put yoursef first. At least…

Have you ever been here? Can you easily get swedish food over there? Lutfisk is disgusting. Only for chrismas. My parents like it but I know very few people my age who eats it. Yuck!!
-
Lingonsylt in swedish. It's great on pancakes and porrige. Not as sweat as other jams. I think you should be able to get it in denmark?
-
Lingonberry jam!!   I LOVE IT!!

Sweden here! Add me if you like! :)

Oh I think tattoos can be great but need to be thought through! Mine hurt like a *****. But I really wanted it, so it was ok. Just suck it up for a few hours (or minutes depending on size) and then it's done! Be sure you know what you want. Don't make anything without thinking it through. Sleep on it. But also don't over…

Nice to see I'm not alone :) and some great tips! And you are right, I've recived a lot of good tips here, and even more support so I'm a bit overwhelmed!! Haha, I hope everyone here knows that I appreciate their input!! So thanks everyone! :flowerforyou:

Hehe, quoting myself here. Didn't mean to sound like you are wrong, for the most cases you are absolutly right. And dependent on the family I also think like this. But a lot of the people I meet are in crisis, are scared, alone, might suffer from depression or mental illness or for other reasons be very sensitive. And the…

I will never stop thinking about what my clients experience of me is. Sometimes the difference between placing a child in foster care and letting them stay with their parents is as easy as making the parents accept help. However, they are only going to do that if they trust me, if they believe in what I say and that I…

Thank you! Yes, I think that is my best bet. And I don't have this problem everyday, maybe a few days a week. But today, I had 1 cookie, and then when i tried to find the calories, it's like 300-400 because of being deep fried. It was just such a bummer. Maybe I need to focus on having more flexibility in my diary, so that…

Well... It's not more respectful. But there is a bigger chance that they won't know that. My goal is not to be disrespectful, because in truth I do respect these people, who a lot of the time show exceptional strength during hard times. I think my best bet is to try and find reasons close to the truth, like us not being…

I could try this, but could be weird if they are then referred on to another social worker. We actually had this discussion at work very recently, and we are not allowed to accept any gifts at all. But we came to the conclusions that if they offered us something to eat during a home visits it was ok, for the above…

This is exatly right. In some families it is disrespectful and insulting to say now. Thanks for explaining :)
-
Yeah, it's about eating it together! And thank you, very appreciated. It's a rewarding job in many ways, but you don't get a lot of compliments on a daily basis. :)

Hey, you guys have some really great tips! Might try the diabetes one, and see if it works. I also must add that a lot of families don't mind me saying no, but some do. And just the fact that we are doing something together (eating cookies) and that I'm acting human, chewing and things is a great way to make them less…
