  • i would try turbo jam if you are interested in that type of thing. there are lower impact alternatives in the video. turbo is so much fun and a great calorie burner! good luck!

  • maybe a change in your workout will do it. i know thats when i get sore even if i stretch when i do something new or more intense im hurting but in a good way. like now started p90x yesterday and definately feeling it. i hadnt felt sore in a while previously i think just bc my body was in a comfort zone.
  • just curious. i just started p90x and i thought 1800 was the lowest bc it adds in 600 for the exercise in the formula. was wanting to get it straight incase i was doing it wrong. im not adding in exercise bc i see that as doing so as my typical mfp deficit w/o exercise is 1330. thanks

  • i had that same one and ended up returning it. since you have to set the exercise timer on it it only counts during that time and even if the timer was going and you took the watch off it still continues to count the same about of calories until you stop the timer.

  • I have to agree with going with chaLEAN extreme for building muscle. i have both and though turbo fire is so much FUN since you are already doing insanity i would go to CLX for strength. TF is mainly cardio. Good Luck! you will enjoy either one you get!

  • I had the same problem. Someone sugguested wearing a heart rate monitor which i havent done yet. I just add it under "cardiovascular-strength training" its kinda disappointing though it says i burn about 105 after CE. but that strength trainging is necessary to build lean muscle.
  • i have used an hrm and using the kickboxing with turbo jam has been pretty close. i actually burn a few more then mfp says. only about 20-40 off.

  • i know there are no weights involved but is it basically only for cardio and no strength condtioning? im not getting the tone i want either so i was hoping this would help me see my muscle tone better.
