I know of a few McD's in this state (I won't speak for all, only those I experienced through friends and family working there) where most of the workers start over minimum wage. In southern parts of the state it isn't unusual to see signs stating that they are hiring for $10 an hour or more. The southern part of the state…

Get a sexy nurse costume and a pair of scrubs. That should solve the problem.

Actually, only starchy vegetables are complex carbs, along with grains. Most fruits and vegetables are simple carbs. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/002469.htm

Wow! Usually these posts don't start showing up until a few weeks before Thanksgiving! You'll have to decide what works for you. Sometimes a vacation from everything, even logging can be a good thing. It all depends on whether you will get back to logging once it is over.

I think it looks tasty....

So, since my banana has more sugar in it than most gummi bears do, would my banana be regulated and I could eat the gummi bears, or would they both require id?

broth, water, shakes, etc. Do what your body needs to do. You need calories to recover from surgery, and yes, this is a surgery. I was pretty much knocked out for the first 24 hours or so and could not have told you how many calories I ate if I wanted to!

Is cauliflower the chicken of the vegetable kingdom? Roast veggies can be very tasty, but that does not make them french fries. Mashed cauliflower can be very tasty, but it is not mashed potatoes.

I doubt I'd see that either. I think it would be interesting to see how people's views on religion color this one though. I suspect there are some people that would agree with at least small parts of this one.

Hear it guys? do Poon for 2 weeks with no cheating and you'll feel like a million bucks! Your woman will thank you!

Poons? There is a diet called Poons?

I've been back to work the same amount of time as you. I am just starting to be able to get some workouts in at night. The morning just isn't going to do it for now. You'll figure out a routine that fits your family, it just takes some time!

We live in the city across the street from the retired chief of police and my kids are 3 months, 5 and 7. No way am I leaving them home alone (even if it wasn't for the baby).

How old are the kids?

OP - I didn't do this diet exactly, but it was one that was similar. I did lose weight easily. It came off so quickly. BUT....it didn't last. I started to miss some of my favorites and when I was alone with food, well, the food lost! If you enjoy eating the foods that are on the no list, and you don't have any medical…

There are some people on here with 100, 200 or more to lose. I would expect that they can keep up the higher weight loss longer. Like I said, it is a much smaller percentage of their total body weight.

Many painkillers will cause water retention too.
-
The larger the person starting out, the more weight they can lose daily when starting. It is a much smaller percentage of their total weight than say, someone who weighs 140 lbs. It can happen, not to all, or even most.

I work full time, have a newborn that only sleeps a few hours at a time throughout the night, and a 5 and 7 year old that I have to shuttle to activities and help with their homework. Plus I have a house to clean, laundry to clean, and food to prepare. I still find time to workout. Are you busier than that?
-
Maybe there is something you ate that your body doesn't tolerate well?

I think you have to twerk

I agree with you. There is always someone that is going to be sensitive to something and they should avoid it. I don't like the way aspartame tastes. I avoid it. I do know some people that have pretty bad reactions to regular and diet sodas. I have seen it. I have also seen plenty more people have no reactions or…

How many of you that said that you had symptoms similar to MS actually know someone who has MS? If you have not been around someone with MS, you can't possibly understand the disease from looking at the symptoms on WebMD.

Try half & Half with vanilla and cinnamon in it.

I don't think what they said was rude and negative, but it is strange that people are watching what you eat.
